Loved seeing your personalities really shine towards the end when you were talking about how this is now your life, you’re doing what you love & What an inspiration you both are! Thank you & I’ll make sure to watch all the ads now I know! 👏🏼 ❤
23:28 🙋🏼♀️ have you encountered anything troublesome that has scared/worried you? That’s one thing that plays on my mind the most is safety especially with the kids.😅
love watching everyone's adventures, made me rethink my life...Thought bugger this all I need to work is the internet... So next year I am buying and caravan and who knows where I end up lol
Love this channel, you guys are authentic, not up yourselves like many of the content creators or constantly peddling merch or links or needing to prove your worth by having the latest and greatest. Love your commitment to charities, your focus upon natural elements and the beautiful way you interact as a family. First time I realised you didn't have a washing machine. How do you cope with the kids?
Thanks Leanne that means a lot to us! We're just doing us, and doing things our way. We don't mind not having a washing machine, for the water, power and weight of them we're happy using laundromats or CP laundries.
We have a washing machine in our Zone but we never use it!, I find it doesn’t spin well and is small. However we did purchase a little companion twin tub weighs 12 kg n I save the washing water into a bucket and reuse it. It takes a queen size sheet n pillow slips and you can get ur washing done in half the time! Depending on how much washing you have, I can get by with a good few loads with 20 ltrs of water.Love my little machine…..
Love watching you guys and find your episodes really interesting. This episode was really informative and confirmed a few things that we also do with our van. Keep up the great work 👍
Great chat thanks, so easy to listen to you two, look forward to your next video. Look forward to seeing you in the Mainland (South Island) of Nee Zealand, soon. Keep up the good work. Cheers
As always, great video Liz and Simon. Easy listening and no bull advice, just the way life should be. Congratulations and every success to you. Wife and I have watched all your TH-cam videos since you started and have enjoyed them immensely. We picked up our Base 20.6 last June and have had a similar experience as yourselves. We love it! Keep up the good work. Ben the builder.
Hi Guys , just found your channel and at early the stages of planning full time on the road in a caravan. Appreciate your knowledgeable content. Thanks and God bless you.
Very enjoyable as per usual. Two areas would love to get both your thoughts on...Yes the towing guide, but also general caravanning/camping etiquette. Thanks guys.
Thnx Liz & Simon, great Ep & thnx for answering my q’s. We’ve been watching you guys from the start of your travels. U guys helped in our, or Alana’s decision on purchasing a Zone, I was already sold on the Zone, pick up end September, can’t wait. Safe travels & thnx for sharing what u do, cheers Rob & Alana
Thanks guys! This was so helpful. We pick up our zone base in about 4 weeks. We’re complete novices, and your videos have helped us a great deal. It must be agreeing with you Liz. You look fantastic! Suzy x
Thanks folks a while back you helped me out no end with the long range tank configured to the standard fuel gauge for some reason the Ford dealer did not do this so I took it back took them 5 minutes so thanks again it could well prove a game changer one day I am struggling a bit at the moment having broken my leg twice in six months awkward bugger that I am but one day in the future back on the road absolutely love your channel laying here in hospital your channel helps enormously
Great videos guys. We are oldies waiting (over 12 months) for our first caravan. All the info is very helpful and inspiring to head out into our wonderful country. You are both very professional and should be very proud of your content. Keep up the great work. Alan and Cheryl
Loving getting to know you better by these videos. Really love the laidback vibe you both have nailed! Can you please do a video about the pros and cons and how to use the composting toilet system - there is not much Australian content on this subject
Thanks for another awesome episode and sharing all the insights into your travels. Love your work, you guys have been a huge inspiration for our plans to set off on our big half lap next year with our 2 girls. Hope to see you on the road! 🤞😉🍻
Hi Guys, Love your videos. I have to say I was very impressed by your mention of the Tupperware Products in your van. That is what I am planning in our Van too. It's so light, compact & seals great, everything stays fresher for longer.🥰
found you guys when I was researching about the Zone RV and ever since I subscribed to you guys. Great video guys good insight on living on the road and TH-cam, content creating etc.
I just love you guys. Fair dinkum and down to earth. It probably helps that my travel ideas are very much in line with yours. Just one thing though... using your gearbox in sports mode depends on your vehicle. Our Everest (10 speed gearbox) is great using cruise control in normal mode towing a 2.5 tonne van. It keeps the rev range in the peak torque area.
Hey guys love watching your videos we are heading off for our second lap around oz 42 years later a little bit older and hopefully a lot wiser keep up the great work and maybe one day we will see you on the road Cheers
Excellent vid guys - thanks for your insights into your lives in the van. We are waiting (seems forever) to see the new Zone Hybrid before we make up our mind on what we order... then we can hit the road !! Love your channel!
Great info we have made up our minds we will definitely getting a zone we are a couple of years off but we are sold can’t beat zone thanks for everything you do 🤗🤗
Loved this video and love you guys. Venetian Blinds - I fell in love with it the very first time I heard it on your intro, googled and purchased it, it resonated with me too. Thanks so much for all of the time and effort you put into your channel and socials, it is so appreciated ❤️❤️❤️. And yes I’m still watching through all of the ads, liking and commenting on all :) xxx
Simon and Liz. you two are naturals, we have shared many places of your travels and to see them again from your perspective is reliving our times on the road. You have been a huge influence on my next van, I'm totally convinced Zone are in a league of their own, so soon as the Ranger V6 of course is organised the phone call to ZONE.
@@TheLifestylePioneers Made the deal today, spoke with Stevi mentioned you guys of course....and she was a bit vague about who you were, I helped to jog her memory.🤔😁
Sitting here at a free camp just outside Geraldton in our ZONE, with mobile reception thoroughly enjoying this video. Awesome work once again. Cheers guys. 🍻
Awesome video! Love your content, you both seem like such chill & genuine people and your insight is so valuable. I’m new and didn’t know about your other platforms so I’ll be heading to your website tonight!
Thank you for opening up and sharing so much about how you guys do what you do 💕. Question about water consumption... would love your tips about how you keep your usage low
Thanks Mel. We'll make sure we include this in our upcoming living off grid video. Our big one is really quick showers (water on, water off, soap up, rinse) and minimising water doing dishes (rinse dishes in creek, dam or sea water where possible before washing). Hope that helps.
Love your content. Looking forward to your offgrid video. You guys (and a few other similar TH-camrs) have inspired me to caravan around this great country of ours with my family in the coming future. I’ve got the vehicle almost finished and touring ready. Just waiting on delivery of the caravan now. I’m interested in the ongoing education needs of kids whilst on the road. I understand that there’s home schooling but wonder if that’s enough for what kids need especially if they plan to go onto higher education (e.g. uni) in the future. We’ve got two small kids and my missus is hell bent on eventually sending them to uni. Despite the kids still being very young, they are very bright and I’d hate to see their current learning not growing due to a limited formal education opportunity of being on the road for an extended period of time. Keen to get your thoughts.
Thanks Rich. That's great to hear. When it comes to the kids learning it really depends on your situation. We're more than happy to do home based learning and confident in good outcomes. It suits our family situation.
Hi guys. Long time viewer first time commenting. Absolutely love your content that you put out. Will be travelling full time ourselves in the next few months. Hopefully catch up and have a yarn and a beer. It is much appreciated the effort you guys put in to create these videos. Thank you.
What a fantastic video. Thank you for taking the time to do it. Would absolutely love a video on towing tips as discussed because real life experience is gold and it’ll help save thousands of marriages.

No probs, Ian. I'll make sure to mention it.

Yes 😁😂Cheers, Glenn
So when watching the ads do you get paid if i hit the skip button
The more you watch the more income we get. If you skip straight away I don't think we get anything 👍
What amount of cost in down loading You -tube ? .So does You-tube pay its members a dividend ,small or large amounts ?
Creators get paid a small percentage of advertising revenue from their videos and also a small amount from TH-cam premium subscriptions.
For a next one, families might like to know how you go about the schooling 🙂
Thanks Cheryl!
Hey Simon, as a matter of interest what pressure do you have in the Ranger tyres when you are on bitumen? Ta.
Hey Pete. I'll get onto the Patreon recognition for you 😂 When towing we're at 40psi front and 50psi rear 👍
@@TheLifestylePioneers Thanks Simon. So when you unhitch do you deflate then redo later - or do you just drive around with high pressure for short periods?
