This game is good, but the longer I played it, the more boredomite it became. A lot of the race tracks (roads, not music) are re-used. It is still a good game.
Yes. Saved you the time of watching the video. Also if any of y'all loved the actor who played Razor, watch a movie called Out Cold. He's hilarious in the movie.
I just came back to this game after almost 19 years (I got it for christmas 2005). This game is the best of all NFS series because: - nice physics - simple and fun gameplay - hard police chases - cool "cringe" story (as a 1995 boy, I love it) - soundtrack made me love every genre - cars sound 🥵 There's nothing that makes you turn off the game. Maybe it's repetitive but it's a arcade racing game. I hate today's games and stories. There's too much happening on the screen. I want to sit and enjoy the game and not stare at micro-transactions and extra tweaks for cars etc...
1:53, its your cars oil they fuck with not the fuel, mia's diaglougue in the race "You left a huge oil spill at the start line you need to end the race fast or smth idk" good video your editing is really smooth. your audio quality and mixing is great too. if youre on PC check out Night Runners ive got some vis on it. 100% the best racing game in the last 5-10 years. anyway, earned a sub, its clear youve put a good amount of effort into this vid and actually played it properly. i have played it since 2005 and still do on pc in 4k at 170hz its amazing
this soundtrack is probably the best one from the nfs franchise. riders on the storm is iconic, but its only one song from that game, here the whole soundtrack just fit perfectly
I would kill to dive in more and play this game again! Never really got into it when I was a kid because I wasn't much of a gamer back then. For now, I'll just stick on playing the GBA, DS, and PSP version of this. 😅
@@StarLuck600 well tbh...on an emulator, the game is soooo unbearable and terrible. But!...on real DS hardware, it's actually quite tolerable in my simple own way of thinking 😅. Don't get me wrong it is still the worst racing game on the system but I actually find to get some workarounds on the handling and controls and get some semblance of fun out of it than when playing it on an emulator.
Also im telling you that Assoluto Racing has a new update. They added these new cars such as the Mazda 787B The 2024 Mustang GT the 2024 Nissan GT-R R35 T-Spec and the Porsche 917K the Mercedes Sauber C9 and the McLaren F1 LM and new layouts of Forest Path with new look.
bro. YOU have to play PAYBACK. Literally the best nfs Ive ever played. It's like combining fast n furious 2, tokyo drift and 7. Literally the GOAT of nfs. The story, the car physics. It's so dope. It has street races, dirt tracks, massive jumps, drifting, drag, police pursuits. and the cinematic scenes are not cringe! seriously. edit: game has no super powers, game has multiple main characters that interact with each other, traversal teleporting is only to locations you've visited, so to start races you still need to get there while driving, map has huge amount of speed events, map has roaming racers, customization of cars goes to so much detail that you can literally even change the break block colour. Police have rubberbanding, but not much. they do get supercar police if you go too fast, so it makes sense. police can be destroyed by tackling them. car upgrading is the only downfall, in my opinion, you have to buy speedcards that are made by 6 different companies, those cards boost your car. you need a lot of money or replay lots of challanges to get more of those, there is also a parts menu where you can roll for better parts that way you are guaranteed to get a better part of the part that you are rolling for, but the stat boosts can vary. Luckily there are special grates that can be delivered with a small police chase, that get you those cards. all and all, having played like 7 nfs myself. I think payback is definitely the greatest nfs, ive played.
I played Payback and I mentioned it in the beginning If I'm being honest, Payback is a very mixed game for me. The physics and handling model, events, police, story, characters, progression felt very mediocre to me. The only thing that appealed to me in this game is the car count and customization. I would've said this game is fairly OKAY, if it wasn't for the UNGODLY microtransactions and the Trading card Upgrade system (that made me want to die). If NFS Payback is your favourite game, I don't mind it. But I don't think this is the GOAT of NFS series at all. I've played NFS Heat right after this and It was a MASSIVE improvement. If you can, try more NFS games like Heat, Rivals, Hot Pursuit, and if you can, the Old NFS games like Most Wanted 2005, Underground 1 and 2. Trust me, you'll love them if you haven't played them yet.
@@StarLuck600 Ive played underground 1 and 2 and old and new most wanted, also heat and hot pursuit, only one Ive yet to try is rivals. But for me, I've loved the handling of payback the most. The microtransaction part hasn't been much of a deal for me, since I just finished the campaign, like 4 days ago and had no need to pay anything to enjoy the game to a max. but the speed card mechanic is quite tedious. Especially towards the end, when every upgrade is so important.
I forgot to mention NFS No Limits in the beginning 💀
Well anyways who cares about that cash grab
calling the story corny but not cringe is the best description of it. good review

I remember challenging myself to finish the game using only the starter car I chose (Chevorlet cobalt) and I couldn't do it
The Golf is better
When i was 8 yrs old. I used to play NFS: Most Wanted on my Uncle's Xbox back in 2018
Get the mod for heat lvl 10 and then you will see actual CHAOS
Saw on TH-cam
Real chaos
@@Dodge_Demon_YT eh. Heat 10 in rivals was better tbh, especially with rivals plus

No it sucks
This is probably the worst aging nfs blackbox game lol
Wait, whats that? Nfs undercover exists?
Oh ..
Come on 1k sub
Original relese no it was bad, but when citation took the project and rerelesed it, it made it 100% better.
