Videos like this remind me I got to play more of this game, heck I need to play more of the series. It's also refreshing to see someone say a non-NFS game is the best street racing game.
Hey man thanks for talking about one of the Amazing game i ever played in my childhood , all the good memories , good times and even the rages times will be forever in our hearts , keep up the good work man you doing great :D
you know the soundtrack is god tier when even hip hop stuff like safe 2 say & real talk 123 gives the same kind of hot-blooded energy as f.i.g.h.t. and pain during the races
Used to play it on my PS2 15+ years ago. Now I play it on the og Xbox and this game is just amazing.. I missed those rage quits when you lose a tournament in the last race when traffic bus blocks you
Super agree! One of the best racing games on 6th gen consoles. One of the fun times was to get the R34 from the tuner club races and use it til the A-Class vehicles become available.
I was just thinkin of this game like a month ago and how i spend half of my childhood enjoing every second of it...glad to know i'm not the only one! Let's all hope we get a remaster or sequel in the future🤩 Also amazing video bro❤️
Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix is one is those games i'm biased towards, and I genuinely can't be objective on because of how much fun and rewarding it is. Especially when i've been playing this very game when i was a 4 years old and beat it countless times. Rose tinted glasses on everytime. I remember having countless debates about whats better Midnight Club or Need For Speed, and i loved NFS but I had nothing but good things to say about Midnight Club. Rockstar needsbto bring this back, just for old times sake, it would completely compete with Forza without question
I wholeheartedly agree with everything in this video. Before last year, I had no cares about checking this series out. But after I played it, it became my favorite all time game! Anyone looking for a great street racer should check this out.
Nevermind a remaster or a remake, if this game got ported to all of the current gen consoles then it'd be putting the _Murder-Death-Kill_ on the whole open world racing genre all over again.
Found out about this game last year and I grew up with the NFS games. This blows the NFS games out of the water. This game has speed, insane amount of vehicles, songs, tracks, 4 fucking cities which gives you more land than the NFS games. More traffic and types of traffic. Arcade has so many modes. If I could go back in time and tell my teenage self one thing that was related to gaming? Get this over Most Wanted 2005.
I'd agree if pro street doesn't exist, i just wished they continue with the characterized opponents from mc2, but hey! they're both different kinds of racing games, i just like the festival underground feel more
Great summary, thanks for the nostalgia trip from my childhood. And yes i played the hell out of MC2, and even replayed it earlier this year. One of the most unforgiving, frustrating, but high octane and chaotic racing games ever made. It's more linear but also more unforgiving than MC3.
I used to just play midnight club 3, midnight club 2, and nfs most wanted 05 on the ps2 back in the day. Man those were some good times. These days even if i want to I don’t get enough time to play it a lot.
Oh my god does this bring back such good memories! Sure, some where I am throwing the controller in absolute frustration to the bullshit this game threw at me but good memories none the less.
I remember playing midnight club 3 on ps2, its one of the best racing games that rockstar has ever made, the story was meh but the amount of cars, customization and soundtrack it had was incredible, it really captured the 2000s car culture very well thanks to dub magazine
I had all the big players back in the day. I had NFS Most Wanted, NFS Carbon, Forza Motorsport 1, I even had L.A. Rush. Beat every single one. Midnight Club 3 Remix is just a better overall videogame. It even ages better. The physics are Rockstar at their absolute best. The sense of speed, the race variety, the ghetto fabulous settings of 3 PLAYABLE CITIES with endless street races and road course tournaments. It's not as dense with characters as NFS, but the characters it does have show more personality. Cars are absurdly fast and responsive and well planted to the road, but not like NFS where the handling is so stiff that you can't get a good drift going without losing a ton of speed or just being unable to recover the stiff slides. MC3 is truly 'just right'. It's arcade racing at its absolute finest and I don't say that lightly. I want this game to be the face of street racer modding in the future. Its mechanics have zero flaws to me. I cannot for the life of me understand how Need for Speed gained the vast lead it did over everyone when it came to popularity. It's a perfectly good game, but the rigid physics seriously hold it back from beating this. I had a feeling playing this game again would reignite those same feelings I had as a kid, but oh well. Rose tinted glasses stay on.
I can't believe Rockstar abandoned this series. If anything, they should make a new MC game implementing the best parts from different franchises and make the best. They already did with RDR and Bully I don't see a reason to not reinvent the genre. The market is already there with people play Mario kart and asphalt.
I think the most frustrating race on the game is the Fleetline race on detroit. Bruh, you are with a stock Class B car against Class A cars. Lol,i hate this race 😂
Midnight club will in fact cause your eyes to dry out, you'll learn to ignore cramps in your hand, and you will verbally abuse your tv these are not subjective experiences they are merely facts you will learn to accept. Or don't. The game dont care. Midnight 2 and 3 are what i describe as, and this might go over some people's heads, the naxx 40 of racing games. Most wanted races were easy for the most part. Rubberbanding was a huge issue. Midnight club has no rubberbanding or at least not that I can tell. It doesn't need it. The game moves so fast and ai behaves almost identical to your own driving, you can easily finish some races 20 seconds before the rest especially if they crash into a trolley or bus never to catch up again. Higher class vehicles and races in Atlanta and Detroit are simply unforgivable, if you're over halfway in a race and you hit a wall to a stop you restart. Simple as that
A remastered version would be dope. But even better another entry entirely. But sticking to the gaudy car culture of those times. It’s what’s missing in the genre. Forza and gran turismo are great for what they are. Horizon was another good genre for what it was. Need for speed I feel shifted away from its roots. But midnight club has always had something special about it. Las Angeles was great for its time
Videos like this remind me I got to play more of this game, heck I need to play more of the series. It's also refreshing to see someone say a non-NFS game is the best street racing game.
It's totally worth it bro. No game is faster.
Most of my early childhood was spent on this game on ps2 I’m very thankful to have experienced it when it came out

Thank you so much! I don't post very frequently, but when I do it's usually because I'm very passionate about it. Glad you enjoyed!
Most Wanted 05 fans getting triggered because it's not Most Wanted 05 😂😂😂
It's definitely not easy for them to memorize the map because it depends on the invisible wall
lmao trust me I love MW05 too. That's my #2 favorite racing game
@@Kudo716both from 2005, I guess that's the year racing games peaked before decline
THIS is the review I looked for

Soundtrack is still in heavy Spotify rotation for me haha
This game was amazing. The soundtrack itself was perfect. These videos are great!

when it comes to street racing games mc3 was a different breed
It really was.
Honestly, the whole MC franchise was a different breed

Creating my own ordered races was so fun in this game back in the day
Great video!
Thank you!
My childhood! Still doing yet another playthrough on PCSX2.
memorable characters indeed, i still remember the Latino mechanic and carlos in his green monte Carlo 😂
Best game of my childhood I am now 22 years old still till this day I play
All it needs is An 4K ULTRA HD BOOST NOTHING NEED TO BE TOUCHED. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
When it comes about arcade racing games, there's NONE to compare with Midnight Club franchise, since the first game it was unique.
That's what I love about Rockstar. They take a totally mainstream style of game and make it just different enough to be amazing.

Let these games stay in the past if anyone wants to play them just emulate. Modern rockstar will only ruin it.
Burnout 2 best game racing of all time history best animation Best gameplay Best graphique Best game Yes of all time
