My absolute favorite cookware on earth. I’ve got two Dutch ovens, cerise red and gradient blue. Love them both. Prefer the metal handles to the blank ones. You got a real beauty!

I love my La Crueset Dutch oven. I roasted a chicken for Thanksgiving, just my hubby and me this year. I got lucky several years ago, I went to an auction sale and got mine for $2.00!
I own 1 La Crueset fry pan with ridges that I use for searing steaks or pork chops. I LOVE that pan. They are so pricy I use a less expensive look-alike dutch oven that I got from Costco. There is no comparison to the quality of the La Cruset pan though. The one from Costco chips with every slight bump. AND I'm very careful. It cooks fine though.

I just purchased the 5-1/4 qt in French Gray…..I hope I made the right choice for making soups, stews and whatever. I wanted a tall pot to avoid splatters and to hold a larger quantity of liquid should I ever need that.
looks nice Kathy. I got one (meringue / white) for my Mom for Christmas. Fingers crossed she likes it. I really want to get her a matching saucepan for her 91st birthday Dec 6 ... but SO expensive.
Oh don't worry, she will love it! Meringue is such a nice choice too. I believe the lining is white as well, rather than the sand color. That's going to be a nice gift!

I think you have the signature series which is what I got for a Christmas gift and I looked it up. The signature series is built a little bit more robust than the classic. My friend who gave it to me does it now but I’m going to prepare filet mignon‘s for her in that tomorrow.
