Superb presentation! I never noticed how the design on the dock lined up with the controllers! It’s very pretty and I agree that it should have come with the game or some other “perk” for those who bought it. I have the original switch and the white OLED. Would love the Splatoon edition but can’t justify a third console. Enjoy yours!
I wanted to love it but the joy cons are such a turn off for me personally. The dock looks amazing though. I ended up getting the Splatoon edition cause the joy cons are so colorful/stands out.
I’ve been wanting an OLED for a while, so getting this was an easy decision! I’m actually glad it came out before the game. On release day I don’t want to have to worry about setting up a new system, I just want to pop that cartridge in and start playing. I agree, that joycon holder would have been great in green!
If anyone wants to know skull & co. Is doing a limited edition neo grip for this if you play only in hand held mode. IMO it makes the back look not that bland.
Tbh this switch is GORGEOUS. It feels like a console that can be presented in a general living space, and still look beautiful without giving off a video game vibe. I would love to upgrade from my standard switch but sadly not in my budget 😭
I would have looooved solid green joycons with white and gold accents…would still have coordinated with the dock but could have been more special. And I agree on the joycon holder…if it’s gonna be black, at least throw the pattern on.

This is a stunning look to the OLED but I'm not a Zelda player I a human that loves to watch people play this game I'm not into the heights flying in the air and diving that completely makes me so anxious lol I do not yet have an OLED but if I choose to get one I most likely would spend the extra amount of money to get this limited edition because why not it's stunning it's beautiful I love the colors. I'm team OLED 100% if you play handheld. If you're looking for another switch or just want to upgrade this seems so cool. Especially if you're a huge Zelda fan!
I agree! The back of the Switch really was underwhelming. But when you slap on the JoyCon, the white with the black circles really slaps. It makes the switch pattern seem idk natural or something like it actually came outta that world. What if it’s a one-to-one clone of like the new slate in the game. 👀
I love my Zelda switch! I have the Animal Crossing one as my other switch. Was holding out for this Zelda edition and just hoping, lol. I did want to say that I’m glad that they didn’t include the game in the bundle. And the reason is because I wanted a physical version of the game. And I also got the collector’s edition preordered. If the system had also come with it, I would have been disappointed.

The design and the colors are amazing. With that said, I decided to go with a refurbish model OLED at Best Buy for $80 cheaper. I couldn’t justify getting it with that price difference especially since I don’t really use the joycons, it doesn’t come with the game and there’s not real difference software wise. Great video!

I decided to pull the trigger and get a second switch. I originally wanted the ACNH edition. However, I played BOTW and I am obsessed with Zelda again. I hadn’t played since the original Zelda game on NES, (or possibly the second one but I can’t remember) In the end I got the TOTK OLED. I love the gold white and green and I’m super excited for TOTK. And I felt the design on this one compared to the ACNH one felt more high end. The OLED wasn’t super important to me but it was only $10 more than the ACNH one currently is. I preordered the case as well, though it would have made more sense to release at least at the same time as the OLED.
I already have the OLED so maybe I’ll just pick up the new case. I’m sad I didn’t preorder the Special Edition TotK game, but look forward to your unboxing video!
I didn't purchase this one, but I did get the Splatoon 3. I don't see anything wrong with purchasing them if you like the game or what is featured on it. I also have the acnh switch. I like the gold and white joycon. I'm surprised they didn't add Link or Zelda on the back of the switch. Overall, it looks nice. Thank you for sharing!

Though this special edition is pretty aesthetically pleasing, I still like my Pokemon OLED better. I feel like Nintendo could have done more with this design for some reason it just seems so plain but I do see why people still like it.
I really like that graffiti style design on the Pokémon Switch. Would have looked really cool here. But the circles are nice and subtle and make it look like it really belongs in the game.

I just upgraded from my switch lite to a regular OLED just a few months ago, but now I wish I had waited just a little longer so I could get this one instead! I wish there was more greeen though, I think some sort of green design on the dock would make it ever better
I actually think the white on the joycons should be replaced with gold, like the body of the front (green would look strange to me imo). When the pieces are separate they look interesting, but they come together to make a beautiful system!
I bought one yesterday you can imagine my disappointment when I opened it and realised it didn't come with a game , it was the main reason I bought it .

great video ! to be honest , i am not that Zelda fan "yet" i mean i only have played The Legend of Zelda waayy back on gameboy and i have so much enjoyment playing it and its my fist game that i learned to must read every dialogue for me to not get confuse on where to go and what to do, i dont hate Zelda but i just dont have money before to pick and play my favorite games, and now im planning to get Nintendo Switch Oled even i already have the Lite i want to experience playing it on a nice screen and on the TV. and since its my first time buying OLED im thinking to buy the special edition Tears of the kingdom since im hype too on that game. even i didnt play yet the breath of the wild hehe . so im still deciding if i get the normal white one or get the limited edition since its my first time buying oled

I think ti to bright for me, think they needd to go with darker colors or even mroe green like that controller part should be greed, This just remind me of the first Oled like all they did was add logo to on of it. the joy con look nice in the front but the back should bee different, I think like my Skyward Sword Joy Con the best.

i would try to find a retro gaming store or something like that in your area. definitely not a gamestop. or sell it yourself on something like mercari or something for the most return
Honestly, it's only worth it if you are upgrading from the older lcd models. I think Nintendo dropped the ball on this Edition, they could've done better, but I guess that's subjective and I'm standing by that. It should've been mostly Gold with a better design on the console itself and the joycons. Lastly, thus should've been released on the same day as tears of the kingdom. They did that with Metroid, what a missed opportunity. Nintendo is counting on fools (and I put my head on the chopping block on that what one) to double dip, triple dip or whatever. I have 2 switch lites, red box model switch, the standard oled switch and now the zelda oled which is still sitting in the box. Sounds like a waste of money right? Even for a collector like myself. I was planning on giving my daughter the standard oled and using the zelda oled switch.

I do agree that the special editions should have more special things with them (carrying case, the game itself, or is the pro controller asking too much?) I know you love the green, but I personally don’t think it matches the console because there is no other green on it. If there were more green, I might like it more. But, as I’ve used the console I definitely don’t hate it like I used to! Great video as always, BWICK!

separate they do look different but i kinda like them not being the same and being one nice piece when put together!
