They would cry some times and I felt sorry for them, they still were hurting from it, Dad had terrible dreams and would wake up screaming

You seem to be making a huge deal out of those idler gears. They don't need "timed", they just need to be installed.

I guess I'm confused but it wouldn't be the 1st time I'm confused LOL. You said the ring gap was supposed to be.30 thou and they were .29 thou? Didn't sound like you were happy with that. I'd say run it man

lol it happens to all of use. But what i was saying is .030 is the reject size next Tuesday i have a video coming out on this so it can help others out

It will run fine but has alot of ware and may have a piston slap at ideal

@@philliphall5198 - It will run OK for a while, but that bore is shot. I would have it sleeved standard size so it quits wearing the precious original block material.
