Great stories (especially the guy doing 7 loads a day at 85mph with no CDL!), and I love how you share your excitement for truck shows. And all things trucking for that matter!
Good evening my friend long time since I talked to you you are doing an excellent job I am joining everything you put on TH-cam I'm sorry to say that I don't have Instagram or Facebook anymore but I am thoroughly enjoying everything
Love your videos Mike. So interesting to see how you do things in your country. I like your videos the most because you keep them interesting, cleaning tips and all that good stuff. Greetings from Finland. I think you should come to Finland test our trucks, things are pretty different here.
I do the same thing , don't want that engine fan kicking in blowing dust every where , and then there will be that guy going the other way in the pit doing 30mph engine fan roaring , so you aim for him to slow him down and most of the time they have no clue !...👍🇺🇸
It was nice to see you Mike! Some fun facts about that 6 wheeler R Model dump: It’s a custom made truck. It started out as a 10 wheeler oil tanker truck with a longer frame, Phil cut the frame down to shorten it out and put the dump body on it. He changed the color from a baby blue (if I remember correctly), and the truck is an automatic, so it’s like driving a car.
I think that Mack R is the reason for me starting my following of you. I think my first seen video, or one of them, is when you drove that. Remember that red bug deflector.
Starting a new job hauling equipment and flatbed in northern mass soon. Any advice for navigating mass and not getting into trouble? Hauled to woburn, framingham and new bedford around 20 times each but thats about it. Knew what routes to take after the first couple times but its a new venture for me. 99% of my hauling experience only dealt with NH. I appreciate it! keep on rolling brother.
My best advice is to drive slower than everyone else which keeps everyone going past and in front of you. That way you can just sit back and watch and plan.
I'm with you, that little stuff gripes me, especially when you get in a truck & the dash is covered & I can't read the guages for the dust & dirt. & the inside windows have that dirty film that reflects back when the sun hits it.
Still bummed that I’m gonna miss ya and the superrigs show this year. The humidity has been terrible down here this late spring/early summer. Drink lots of water!
Wow, i knew that Rooney guy. I probably loaded that same trailer years ago. Their trucks use to be maroon in color. Nice to see them in newer looking trucks.
The o ther thing mike is the air dryer spits at the wrong time to blow a cloud of dirt at ya , but i fixed that problem i took fish tank hose it fits on the spitter perfectly and ran it to the back of the tractor now it spits straight out 👍🇺🇸
Hey Boston trucker how are you doing today my friend so I like watching your TH-cam videos they are very educational videos and keep up the good work so any updates on your new truck lately
It's been upper 80's to 90-93 here in PA. Some days It's humid. We just started having thunderstorms this week 5/23 -- its Sunday 5/26 and we're supposed to have a few tonight and tomorrow. That's pretty funny that one of the friends of the boss filled in with a car license. Then again? For a few days and if he's been "" playing with "" trucks all his life? Anythings possible. Just don't get caught! I know a couple people who are from NJ and now live in Texas. Yup, if you're closer to the coast? You can get humidity. And? Further inland is the dry heat. Which is hot. Hot is hot!
Memorial Day is Hero Day. It is for all those who laid their lives on the alter of freedom for this country. Or, as Jesus said, ( Whether you believe or think he's a swell guy from the past) he said, "" No greater gift has he""-- "" who lays down his life for a friend/ his friends "". Not trying to bring down the BBQ! Have a cold drink and something to eat and observe with the people you love. God bless and safe travels!
