I had a 1985 jeep cj7 Laredo built. I bought 1996 Toyota 4runner. Had the jeep put into the 4runner frame. Now the ride is so smooth in the jeep. Everything is Toyota except the body. 3.4 motor e-locker diff
Would love to see a cost brake down on this build I have a tj in the Same chillie pepper read I’ve always wanted to do something like this with a la swap as just as a badass build but have also thought about getting a gladiator and doing a Duramax swap with an Alison transmission
@@BuiltDifferentGarage hahah yea would love to see about the cost tho cause if it’s expensive as shit witch I’m assuming it is then I might just go gladiator they giving them away right now it seems like for how cheap some are
I was there week prior seems past 4 years I show up there and the jeep invasion just doubles every year glad I didn’t come this years cause of the bumper to bumper traffic. When you go on vacation its no fun to sit in traffic bumper to bumper to get from point a to b like it’s rush hour traffic
Traffic was absolutely insane. We rushed to get food as soon as the show ended at 5pm just to get a seat somewhere. Made reservations too but still nowhere to park. Friday night, the traffic was INSANE… we sat in one spot for a good 15 mins and watched the light just cycle several times haha

Damn that’s pretty cool. Was there a lot of fab work to get the Jeep body and Toyota frame mated together?
The guy had to cut 14” off the frame and move the motor back 5” Then he just welded the body mounts to where they lined up with the body to the frame
Awesome experience. Hope to make it next year!
You guys would love it! We already know we’re going back next year.
