I've got 'homemade' tortillas and some great wild Patagonian 'pink shrimp' that will work perfect for this. (I even have some fresh 'rough chopped' picante sauce I just whipped up)
Many Mexican households do it this way. I would say if you choose to heat your tortilla over an open flame it will make it crunchier as opposed to using some sort of griddle skillet
The recipe is good in general but Too much salt and too much of lime juice, almost impossible to eat. And I put only half of spices. Mayonnaise is already salty too.
I don’t really cook but I had this for my family tonight. They loved it. It was so easy to make. My brother rate it 100/100.

We haven't ever tried it, but feel free to experiment!
I get frustrated with corn tortillas. No amount of heating them will prevent them from breaking apart. I just use flour ones.
Tip- 1:15 Do not warm or cook tortilla on direct flame over the gas stove.
