5:55 is hilarious. I didn’t like tomatoes til I was 17, avocados til I was 21, onions til I was 24 and cilantro til I was 26. I know what it’s like to hate veggies but now I love cilantro and it’s funny to hear that he doesn’t like them.

It’s actually genetic if cilantro tastes like soap to you. Only a small percentage of people have that particular gene, but there’s nothing that can be done about it 🤷♀️

This looks delicious. I make shrimp tacos often with similar ingredients. Gotta try that cream. I usually make a Chipotle and sour cream combo along with a Mexican salsa to go on top.

Something I have to get over is long nails and someone prepping my food. I get paranoid about bacteria. I can't help it. I love shrimp and cilantro but the nails digging into the food I just had to briefly look away. Nice dish though.
Yesss....I totally agree. A person cooking with long nails is not hygienic at all.

First thing they teach in culinary school, no long nails, so nail polish
I am a private chef and love long nails 🥲but it’s true they are technically a no no. In my culinary school days we used to get kicked out of class for long nails and polish. These days I feel like long nails are less of a big deal, especially with gel and dip being less of a chipping risk. General rule of thumb tho is any food that isn’t going to be cooked, or ready to eat food should be handled with gloves anyway.

it's a genetic mutation why some ppl say cilantro tastes like soap. same thing with ppl who can't digest the amino acid asparagine that's found in asparagus and it ends up being a smelly excretion.
