    This club is going in the right direction anfield is amazing stadium been a few times theve got a great team of players and a good manager a very stable club.And that frightens he shit out of me cause I'm a United fan and I don't think it will be long till Liverpool start dominating the league again but hey come on they deserve it theve waited long enough it scares me but I love the rivalry between us but I do think Liverpool's time is coming sometime soon.See you Saturday lads.

      We were still there singing when we were getting pasted by Sir Alex every season, and we’ll still be there if we plummet down to the 3rd division. Without any rivalry it’s just another boring 2 team league and we’d all be Arsenal and city fans sat down and keeping our mouths shut. Domination for a period will be nice, but our love for the game goes beyond that.

    It's a pity there are hundreds of seats at each end where you can't see the goal due to the stand roofs behind them being too low. This will need rectified.

      ***** The Dallas Cowboys Stadium has over 100,000 @ the AT&T center in Dallas TEXAS .US.A. & it's also nice and big. Unique structure. Danny Lopez of San Antonio Texas U.S.A.

      +Urdnot Wrex Both yourself and Judan are correct actually. In its normal configuration, AT&T Stadium holds 85,000 spectators, but, it also has a modular design that allows it to expand to accommodate 100,000 for special events like the Super Bowl.

      +grossesTennis Once the main stand is complete Anfield will hold approximately 55,000, then Anfield rd stand will basically be demolished (guessing the 9,000 fans will be moved to the new 10,000 seats in main stand) and Anfield rd will be rebuilt to bring the capacity to between 60,000 & 61,000
      Can't do anything to the Kop as a main road run by it and the Centenary Stand has occupied homes behind it.

    Stadium expansion should have been done in the early 2000s when it was cheaper. But maybe we didn't have money back then. Anyway 54,000 is not bad for a sport stadium in UK. This country has not been blessed with a world cup like Germany and Italy. If the UK is awarded with world cup. Teams like Liverpool will have new mega stadiums since long time ago.

      +Urdnot Wrex Well back then even Elland Road was still considered big. In the early 90s, I guess we didn't have a "global vision" about football. It was still a boot-room culture here at Anfield. Houllier was probably the man who lifted us out of our siege mentality.
      BTW, even Klopp said yesterday that Rubin Hazan's dressing room is bigger than ours at Anfield. LOL. I guess we are really lacking behind those who have modern facilities.

    • @dylanmorgan2752
      @dylanmorgan2752 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Decades? Your supporters are so back in time they just sit there quiet like mice not knowing what fixture is on. Arsenal and Chelsea fans pay through their teeth to go and have about one or two songs they sing, quiet enough so the neighbours don’t wake up or the ghosts left behind in Highbury. Don’t go talking shite about capacity unless other teams home and abroad would count those seats as being full.

      It’s hard to expand a stadium whilst trying to keep its authenticity, we aren’t a plastic club like the rest
