Me too! When I FINALLY figured out how to braid my own hair, for whatever reason, I braided dutch style, but when I braid someone else's hair, I braid the regular way.
OMG the star trek hold is game changer !!!! Can't thank you enough. Gotta rest my arms a bit (and I swear to you I work out A LOT and it still hurts braiding) and try again. Hopefully it will look good enough so I can post a pic and tag you. THANKS. Love from France 🇫🇷
As one of the people who (have tried) and can’t braid well, this is the BEST tutorial I’ve ever seen! It makes sense and super easy steps! I actually managed a (rough) braid on my daughter’s hair.....and this video was how I found your channel too 😁 now I watch all the time haha! The holding cell and spock hand method is the best I've seen!! No one else really even shows consistent finger movements and teaches you how to do it. Thanks!
Wow! The best explanation of a Dutch braid that I've come across, I feel as though I may be able to do this, just gotta figure out how to keep the bottom length of my hair from plaiting/knotting up as I go 🤔
I LOVE your metaphors! For whatever reason, THIS has "dumbed" it down for me in such a way that I can FINALLY start getting the hang of it! I have long hair and have always wanted to be able to do wicked cool braids but have never found a tutorial that explains it in such a way so I can visualize it and recreate it on myself. FIRST successful dutch braid since I tried to start learning how a YEAR ago!!! THANK YOU!!
This tutorial was so helpful. I managed to put my hair in two dutch braids after watching this (it took me a long time and multiple tries) and it looks decent! It became better-looking with each attempt. Thank you!!

After my hairdresser pointed this out, noticing the line of breakage, I explored how to do braids for school. Then I found you. Kayley Melissa Please could you make a tutorial for How To Hide bobby pins in your hair, for hairstyles such as a Milkmaid Briad, with normal braids at the side and pulled over across head, to pin it in place. I can dow the hairstyle but cannot hide the pins in place. So it will really help to learn how to hide pins for different types of hair tutorials

When I was growing out my bangs I used some styling gel to push them over to the side of my face. Like side bangs. But that may not work for you. I got away with it because I was a kid and didn’t care if I looked stupid

Thank u sooo much for makin this video!!! Ive always known how to french braid other peoples hair but never learned how to do it on myself. ive been dyin to learn! (other than a simple, plain braid). Ive been dyin to learn n e braid on myself. I've tried so many other videos but failed miserably. I just couldn't do it bc they would go too fast or not explain or how to do it. I'm sooo grateful that u did break it down and explain each step! Finally I can practice this new style on myself. I needed a new hair style badly. U motivate me to want to look & feel better after becoming disabled from serving the Army. I love ur videos! Thanks again!!!
