Any tips for doing this with curly hair that doesn't really separate into strands without yanking it with both hands and all the thoughts and prayers in the world? That's the issue I run into, I need both hands to separate new strands and lose track of the old ones.

I was thinking the exact same thing! Especially when it has over 1 million views! I have watched so many many of these. And tonight you just made the whole thing makes sense in my brain and it looks beautiful. I had really given up hope a few years ago of ever being able to do this. My daughter French braided her own hair last night so I was inspired to try once again and then I found your video. Thank you for giving me a new style to do finally! I am 24 years old and have never in my life successfully French braided my hair. I have looked up tutorials before but I could never wrap my brain around how to hold the sections and keep them organized. Today I found this video and on my first attempt after watching it I have successfully French braided my hair!!! I'm absolutely thrilled! I was not in the slightest offended to be given the exact same instructions over and over and over because that is exactly what I needed. She explains and shows everything very helpfully. Thank you!

Thank youuuu 😁 I realised I'd been trying to braid my own hair like I braid other's, with my palms facing away from my hair. I watched a million videos and was skeptical about this one, but it worked! Can finally do one myself! Pay attention to the finger positioning, that’s what saved me

So I've tried to do this for years. This was the easiest tutorial I have ever used for hair. Thank you, thank you!!! I was laughing when it said 5 mins. Told my husband that I'll somehow make it 45 mins...but this actually worked. I really surprised myself with how easy and fast I did it. Thanks again!!!

22 years old and this is the first video that made sense to me. I have an undercut that comes up the sides of my head, so it looks a little funny with my hair length, but looks soooooo much better than a messy half-done bun or always in a ponytail. THANK YOU!

This taught me how to French braid ❤ practice makes perfect! I found that when I stopped overthinking it , I was able to do it! Also, for those having trouble , smooth out each strand before crossing so it doesn’t mix!

It doesn't make a difference what color your hair is, it will be noticeable and beautiful! My hair is brown but it looks black when it's not in the light. Dark hair looks beautiful in a French or Dutch braid. Give it try!😊
