- FINALLY! ITS FINISHED!
I have been working on this animatic since the underworld saga came out months ago. I kept taking breaks and basically saying that I was just gonna leave it unfinished BUT I finally got around to finishing it!
This is why you will see some inconsistencies in my style. This is very true at the beginning. My art has improved a bit over the past few months so the beginning is a bit rough but it’s worth the watch!
Anyways enjoy! I had fun making this animatic and I think it’s very fitting for Anakin.
I love how this depicted Palpatine. He is not saying lies,but he is manipulating the shit out of Anakin.
He’s putting more fear into Anakin’s mind which is the exact reason all these events take place. He’s basically scaring him into doing the things he fears and Anakin doesn’t even realize till he’s too far gone either 😢
I like how this kind of turns the song on its head. In Epic it was about how Odysseus was going to change, but here it's about how much Anakin had changed. It goes from "You WILL not be the same man" to "You ARE not the man you once were."
Palpatine is like “You think it’s bad now? Oh it gets so much worse my friend 😊”
Ahhhh so good! "We'll be fine" is SO Luke and Obi-wan coded too 👀

Ever since the underworld Saga came out I saw that it could translate over to Anakin's story very well. Yet you are the only person I've seen so far who has even made something from that connection. The animation looks really good especially that Darth Vader at the end great job(if you could give a little bit of context in the description for what's going on in the animatic that would be great)
I’m glad you like the animatic! I also instantly noticed the similarities of Anakin and Odysseus in the underworld saga that’s why I knew I had to make this animatic.
For context I basically am trying to reimagine the scenes leading up to Anakin joining Palpatine. The animatic is showing Palpatine’s manipulation in a different way than the canon series and movies have. I also wanted to show how the things that happen to Odysseus also happen to Anakin.
Padme will end up with a man who has killed, Anakin’s men will sacrifice themselves, his brother with “betray” him. I wanted Palpatine to show this as a way to also manipulate him. Palpatine is manifesting the future basically.
Way to lean into the drama and tragedy by using Anakin's story! Excellently chosen/illustrated scenes too, especially Vader taking up the whole screen with orchestral swell and his billowing cape.

Okey now imagine the part in the underworld that says "558 men who died under your command captain capitan why would you let the cyclops live when ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves", but it's sang by Torrent company to Rex, and replace cyclops by Jedi

@@podsn8539 I definitely will, it's just a matter of when. I'd planned to release it day in day when the thunder saga came out but I forgot to, then I actually tried to upload it when the Wisdom Saga came out and that's when TH-cam just refused to process it.
Think I'll try again when we get the release date for the Vengeance Saga to celebrate that.

@@Dumebi2 I’m currently working on a Barriss Offee and Luminara my goodbye animatic too! Little more lowkey but still Star Wars and epic. I have some ideas for some Ahsoka animatics with Epic songs as well.
Hopefully there’s more Star Wars and Epic to come!
