Hey Rocky. Awesome as always. A tip for fastening your ESC……run the cable, twist tie, kite line etc, (whatever you use) underneath the fan, in the heat sink groove. It lends a cleaner look and puts less pressure on the plastic ESC fan casing.
Finally drove mine today for the first time. This thing handles amazingly. My first 1/5 scale. Gonna put the steel servo gears, stiffer saver spring and speed gears tonight. Power is great, needs more speed.... Same goes for the servo. I might have to make a good servo horn so that I can use a standard size servo.

What do you think of the steering servo? The only Traxxas vehicles I have is the E-Revo VXL 2.0 and the TRX-4 Bronco and both them needed servo replacements to truly shine.
Have held off on ordering one, was waiting to see what you could break on this thing first 😉. Still contemplating 30 deg North electric conversion, just have to find the time to build it, have to squeeze time just to run the ones I have, which has already long past certifiable 😂 so this rtr is tempting 😏. But instead ive got another shock shaft chassis bender that'll take the same or more to get right... But she's shiny!!!

Great vid...most people are saying the XRT won't backflip with the stock tires, you didn't seen to have any problem. Would the ESC have anything to do with that, I don't think so myself but I'm not sure....cool truck tho, awesome 👍👍

@@thunderrc I drove a XRT yesterday in the rain. The wheels wobbles like crazy Lolol. Why didn’t Traxxas fix that situation. No pre drilled vent holes on a 2000 dollar platform. I was a little surprised that there wasn’t attention paid to the wheels and the steering links seem weak. Other then that it’s a bahoooomuth beast 🤘😎

I put the max 6 in my car today. When I did and calibrate the esc it work but my receiver is flashing red did yours do that.
What transmitter? Did you turn down your AVC to 0 before calibrating? That might help.

Yes actually it did. You need to open up the receiver box. Make sure that all your leads are plugged in correctly. Mine were not from the factory.

I drove a XRT yesterday in the rain. The wheels wobbles like crazy Lolol. Why didn’t Traxxas fix that situation. No pre drilled vent holes on a 2000 dollar platform.
I was a little surprised that there wasn’t attention paid to the wheels and the steering links seem weak. Other then that it’s a bahoooomuth beast 🤘😎
