My first beats didnt sound anywhere near this good :D But i made my first beats kinda before all these TH-cam tutorials and massive amounts of sample packs. Nowadays its too easy to make a simple beat... Just copy a TH-cam tutorial and replace the sounds with your own synths / samples.

I started out feeling so overwhelmed and I'm not out of the woods by any means, but I'm a helluva lot less basic thanks to TH-cam saviors like you, chucki beats, busy works, etc. Thanks.

@@cnk_music I do that sometimes, but I also do mostly heavy electronic music. I'd advise sampling out the sounds, especially if you use FL cuz it's so easy. I also mostly synthesize my own drums, and then add some samples for character. Mixing sounds like that makes eq'ing and stuff fairly important during the actual combining process. That's a lot of words just to say, layering drums is good, just as long as everything is in the right place
I usually hate series that exploit "bad" ideas or beginner-level projects for views but this actually teaches me a lot and it doesn't feel petty or mean
I love the editing from the editor lol, they do a great job of helping you follow along and give some takes an atmosphere when you're being funny or whatever lol. Great video man and helpful instructions lol
