Please do more of these Simon, they really help people like me to notice the small things we do wrong or just don't think about while producing, appreciate you!
I just made my first beat on FL , and mahn, I was stressed out with the controls and all, even though I be watching a lot of Fl producers and tutorials. Hats off to all the producers that make it look easy 👏 🙌 .
@@lvcifxr yeah true. Was using studio one first which I am still kinda missing at some feature aspects but just got used too much at using fl in the meantime... :D But I think you can use the DAW you are most comfortable with as long as it matches your requirements :)
Keep grinding! FL is also notoriously unintuitive (some would say badly designed) in terms of its workflow, so remember it's not just you. Once you get good though it doesn't matter...
that's actually one of the coolest "fix your beat" series I've ever seen. Keep it up man It's almost like you're also "fixing" the beat maker, given how much easier it is to have them understand why you're doing what you do
I loved how the last one was dubstep, great to see how he treated other genres, especially that one. I always struggle to add ambience and width to my dubstep so that was super useful!
Loved the content in these videos as they super helpful showing how to take a mix to the next level. Had a hard time hearing his voice to the music sometimes but my neighbors were probably bopping along anyway :)
I love how Simon knows what to do with the beat as soon as he hears it.
i love how he changed from 'Hey Everyone', to a straight up sick intro
It helps that they tell me what they need help with!
@ServidaMusic the music version of "show me on the doll where they hurt you" 😅
@@ServidaMusicgenre challenge: fix on of my metal instrumental? 🤘🤘🤘
Yo it’s crazy that you saw the potential in the third beat it turned out so fire it just needed a few better sounds and synth notes
The ARP sounded low-key cheap
I think he just didn't have the time to do it properly
@@KaileyTheAlienyeah lotta potential
I like that he didn't just fix the beat but also helped the producers understand the problem and how to fix it.
You help a man fix his beat, you help him make a banger.
You show a man how to fix his beat, and he will make bangers for ages.

This was great. Now, if only ACTUAL call services can be this helpful
That's called ghosting
@@agambansal902 When you're talking about calls, ghosting means not responding though. :)

That wasn't dubstep. That was electro.
Bro nobody’s gonna talk about that crazy smooth intro?? Props to Simon, that was great
dude obviously loves what he does. That's the best in any situation.
Great idea getting subscribers in on the call. Makes it so much more fun to watch.
At least they get direct advice and feedback for their beats and the way to improve them
It's crazy how much a few changes to the mix can completely transform a song. Would love to see more dubstep mastering. Great video!
This is a cool concept! Love what you did on the melodic dubstep one :)
The version he sent me didn't have the melody, very sad moment. f
Yeah the synth punched real hard in your track, wish he kept that aspect of it
Simon's production just keeps getting better and better. The "IT" support angle of this video is why he's light years ahead of us haha

Amazing work, but I agree with the last 4/5 score. You made it sound better, but also made it a lil more dubstep and a lil less chillstep.
