Ok, well I've got a friend who's a bit of a trader, these days buying in bulk (from auction houses like John Pye) and sells on the individual items, online. Before he used to do car boots and he had a particular strategy....that worked. You turn up really early on, buy up all the best stock as people are just putting it out. Good at haggling and cutting deals he didn't need to take stock to the car boot, he bought his stock there. Then set up his stall and resold all he'd bought at a profit. Some stallholders would realise what he did and get the hump, but it's all legit. They were happy enough to cut the deal at the start. So yes, this does happen. Get there really early and buy up the best of everyone's stock, set up and resell. He moved on to auctions and bulk, but this strategy at car boots works if you're shrewd. Buy something early off someone setting up, for £25, an hour later put a £35 tag on it, let the punter haggle you to £30. If they want the item they have to buy it from you.

without markings on the tools them selves there is noting the police can do. SO GET YOUR TOOL ETCHED ! which will allow the police to arrest.
You can't just go around accusing someone of selling stolen tools just because that is what you think. That's deformation of one's character right there
Nobody sells their tools. Ever. I inherited some of my grandfathers. Only thing I've ever sold was a massive compressor I got for an air tool workshop that didn't happen when I went to uni. Can't believe this is so rife.
People should help themselves to these tools for free
This is where my dads tools probably went, and it wasn’t just a drill they nicked, it was the whole van
Unbelievable isn't it, great we have these law abiding foreigners coming here in droves, that don't give a shit about honesty and the law
I stayed at a premier inn this week and 14 vans were done over on Tuesday night including one of ours Luckily our transporters just seamed a little like to much hard work to get in, but they did cut a hole in the side of one, fortunately mine was left alone, one poor bloke lost his pickup truck.
These people are just as bad for selling them as the people who nick them.
And we keep letting them in
The sellers accent compared to the buyers accent should’ve been your first clue…
The buyer used to live in a high trust society until the seller came along
…and we’ve filled our country full of this shit!
That’s a lot of tools!
Someone’s livings there!
Bro got a whole warehouse. Tbf, might be just my thoughts but if I see something at a car boot, I ain’t questioning where it came from. I’ll be paying the guy
He probably doesn't steal them, but he buys them cheap off someone who steals them
Maybe if the police decided to do some detective work they could repatriate some of those tools.
I've had my van done 3 times. The police give you a crime number whoopie. This is a crime network with that much hoard.
My van was broken into a new snap on jump start kit and a socket set nicked - never seen again.
That’s bang to rights that mate! Absolute crook!
Good job exposing this, some people's job is stealing workmen's hard earned gear, that is more than 200 breakins.
Deport immediately
Just pick what tools you want and leave! Says their yours. If police come? Again say they was stolen from your van! Start to man up! Take these people on!
And he's still living off of our taxes
Report him to police! There are too many for a car boot! They are definitely stolen!
I put my post code and initials in invisible ink on my tools, so if they get nicked, someone might be able to return them
Unfortunately, strong evidence is needed to prosecute.
If the person videoing this looks hard enough, he will probably find his own initials on a few of the batteries
I remember being arrested, for handling stolen goods, as I was on a bike, back in the 90's when it was still a crime. Not now.
When my bike was stolen I found it when guy try to sell it. I gave police all data guess what they did. Nothing 😅
How so? 😮 @@bartoszbielecki1722
Usual suspects 🤬
Get apple air tags people!!
At a car boot 3 weeks ago, 5 pakistani men got a good hiding as 2 builders had showed up with few vans full of friends as their kot got stolen but had air tags hidden in chargers and boxes! IT WAS AMAZING TO WATCH!!!
I confronted one old man 😂 I’m sure there were plenty of other sellers who would have had a private chat about their tools with you 😂
He don't have any proof to even accuse him of anything
Reminds me of the time someone came up to me when I was filling up my M4, accused me of being a drug dealer when I've worked hard all my life, studied extremely hard all hours of the night, when him and his mates were drinking cider att Spoons, I paid my taxes and knew I didn't want to be average working class joe.
Where is the evidemce they're stolen? Did you match serial numbers?
I thought just the table 😮 then you look down the line 😂🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯😆🇦🇺
Nigel Farage needed.Reform uk.
I had tools nicked from shed then car boot in field next door at weekend. Found my tools on stall, stupid bugger. I picked them up and walked away then all hell broke loose. He scarpered when the police turned up.
Leave people alone. Why didn't you call the police if you thought they were stolen?
As soon as he spoke you know it’s fishy. 😂
So cooll. Bringing his culture to england
My local car boot has banned the sale of tools
Never sold a tool a purchased, I’ve given old ones to family when I’ve upgraded etc but other than that it’s gets used till it dies or I store it as a spare in case my new one fails etc.
All them tools are from vans broken into
