Between Lupe and Drake, I’m not sure which one I dislike more. I wasn’t a fan of either one, and wasn’t a fan of Kendrick’s either. But Lupe and Drake made me pay attention to Kendrick and now I’m a huge Kendrick fan!!! He is the best representation of the culture and has made me fall back in love with hip hop. I am now dissecting lyrics and learning more about the culture because of Kendrick. So for those reasons, I thank those two jokers.

Not some gossipy blogging stuff but a "I'm better than you, at this" kind of thing. I really believe Lupe is a better rapper but Kendrick is a better artist. And to be diplomatic, in terms of accessible music, Drake did have the edge on Kendrick..purelt in the commercial space (I already know, the culture aspect is what it going to be said). But Lamar had more legitimacy with his audience. If we're going skill for skill, Lupe wins that. If we're going artistic merit & metrics, Kendrick cleans that up.
