@@charlesculbertson2469 amazing thanks for asking. I’ve easily spent 30 hours of shooting this all summer long and it’s a beast. Lightweight, quiet and just fun. I’m using a single pin sight that you can adjust the range on and so far it’s spot on. No deer yet this season but we keep pushing on.
@@Sean-pw3yr I have recently set up the same. Lift 33 at 31.5 and 80# mods. But when I get my reading on the poundage it’s only at 76lbs. Anybody help me understand why?
@@almonmiller4158 there could be a handful of reasons, the main one seems to be when tuning your bow and taking twists out of your string vs adding. If you’re pressed to get it to 80lbs add twist to your strings. If your ATA in on point and your cams are perfectly synced I wouldn’t stress about the lost of 4lbs. Draw length is the hack for speed, 4lbs won’t get you much.
Sounds like every time you draw, there is the crack/pop sound that is coming from the cable/cam contact. Think most have been on the non cable side of the cam, against the split yoke on that side. Could be hearing things, but cable rub seems to be an issue on some of the Lifts and how they are shimmed from the factory.
They have that digital shot as an add-on for any bow it just sticks to the side of the bow it's ok but nothing that repetition will tell you. Shows arrow flight kinda cool.
Have you experienced lbs loss with the 75lb mods? I have had to increase the twist of my cables 2x in 2 weeks. Just curious what you have been seeing after the increase in lbs.?
Enjoyed the real world look at the new Lift. I am looking at buying the 33” next. At the moment I have the Mathews Atlas, 78#, 32” draw. I shoot Victory VAP TKO Elite arrows @ 462gr. Measures 307 thru the chrono at my local shop. In your opinion, how would I benefit by switching to the from my Atlas to the Lift?
Does the Alpha X also have a several month waiting list? Does the back stabilizer integrate like the front? I can get out the door with this on 31.5" at 2k or we talking 2500?
Lot of talk about these bows derailing on let down and cams hitting the cable when drawn back. It’s the internet so you have to keep that in mind but, have you guys seen either of these issues?
Can someone explain why his rest cord setup looks so different than every other rest setup? Never seen someone tie to the limb. Please help as my lift is going to be here in march
@@extremeoutfitters A chunk of carbon blew out on the bottom limb pocket. I don’t know if it’s superficial or not. I have a claim through PSE. In the meantime I’m going to pick up one of these Matthews lift 33 bows until I get the issue resolved.
The limbs are not wider. Idk where that keeps coming from. Exact same width as the p4. You guys are still not understanding ibo speeds. 350 grains at 70 pounds is the same speeds as 80 pounds at 400 grains. Which is also the same as 60 pounds at 300 grains. Where they push the needle on ibo is not poundage. Ibo parameters are 5 grains per pound up to 80 pounds with a 2 pound variance and the kicker is no specified draw length.
We know that. However, they are getting their speeds from 80lb 31” draw and 450 grain arrow or something. I really wish they would just make real world numbers
@@jroutdooradventures you guys have to calculate for the weight on the string and other things. For example my lift 33 goes as follows 70 pounds 420 grains 27.5 inches 285fps This is 340 fps ibo when you calculate for the 20 grains on the string. If I took advantage of the 2 pound variance that ibo allows for it would be shooting 289fps which would be 343-344 ibo equivalent. Yours however is pretty slow I’m betting it’s chrono related. I’ve not had a bow In 10 years that hasn’t made its advertised speeds when testing under the allowed parameters. I’m also testing them fully tuned and with a bareshaft through the chrono.
When you figure the weight on the string, and use 80lbs/28.5"/450gr arrow, at a 343IBO, it should hit 298 at those measurements with 40gr on the string. So it is basically hitting its IBO mark, and isn't slow. That's pretty sweet on just a single shot sample.
@@o.n.e.wayhunting if they rated their bows with no monkey tails, then what’s the point of having them? No matter how you slice it, they’re the same speeds as last year. Which is fine, but don’t advertise the extra speed…
@@ashleysmith4191 I agree. Given the extra draw length of the Switchweight cams, usually around 1/2", the new cams have been at most on some, 1/4", so the Lift is in all honesty about 3-5fps faster than the P4/V3 series of bows. It is over inflated, and unnecessarily so slightly.
Take a drink every time JR says “yep” 😂😂
I'm rocking the 29.5" Lift at 28" DL with 80# mod and 80%. Won't be in until end of March. Went with the Ambush fade to black
How did it turn out?

Lets see an 80lb 33 at 30 inch draw!

I have a 33 lift at 80lbs at 31.5” draw.

Awesome to see a review at my specs! 😂 us shorter draw guys don’t get much love on speed tests. Can’t wait to try one of these at 80
Heck yeah! Been waiting for someone to do this!

I definitely hear the tick in the first half of the draw cycle

IBO is still 30 inches and 5lb per grain poundage of bow. The 31 long or or 29 for short range bows our their specific manufacturing specs.
I was lucky enough to snag the last LIFT 33 at my local shop (and I was coming from Hoyt). Just waiting on those 80lb mods.
awesome vid. I have my 80lb on order should be here end of the week. Coming from Hoyt I have been impressed.
Love yalls channel! Pretty nice buying from yall too. Hey I'd like to see maybe the title vs the lift on the 3d range
There are a couple guys selling bridgelock thumb screws like you mentioned in the video.
Also the riser is a bit longer than most which is more stable and remarkable it's so light
Nice job guys, definitely think I’d hit 300 @ 29” draw and a 440 grain arrow.
Probably around 306
How did you guys fix the cable hitting the cam? You can hear it hit mid cycle when he draws back.

What do you think the speed would be with a 520 grain arrow?
What did you mean 55 to 80lb. Did you mean you could switch the cams out and it can be any weight in between?
My man Zack, gonna rip the cams off that 80#

I'm picking up one at the end of the week only because my 80lb levitate took a bleep

The pse carbon bow is the lightest bow out there

Just test the bow at IBO specs...
