3:54 is the reason why I think the New-U Station needs to be canon. There is so much irresponsible retcon involved with deeming it non-canon, like Roland's death, which can be easily fixed by saying Handsome Jack revoked his ability to respawn.
...But Handsome Jack could have revoked the vault hunters' ability to respawn as soon as they completed their role in achieving sanctuary's destruction/relocation. Or if he wasn't that foresighted, as soon as they began to go after Angel. I mean...like...the story literally doesn't make sense if New U IS canon.
