Types of Pilots in KSP Episode 3 is out! This is types of KSP TH-camrs. Hope you enjoy! Please like and subscribe! If you've ever watched KSP videos, then you will probably recognize these people. They are some of the more famous KSP TH-camrs, and each of them is known for something unique. Something that could possibly be caricatured...
Due to this being a slight caricature of these youtubers, some of the missions weren't exactly possible. Plus, the missions weren't the point of this video. Therefore, I used Hyperedit. So don't try to fly the SSTO for Matt Lowne to every planet in the Kerbol System XD

The Matt Lowne: So if you draw a line between kerbin, the sun and duna. The angle that should form will be about 44.365486688547795248 degrees
But mostly just remember it as 45, it's a much rounder number

the funny bit about the Matt Lowne one is that he really does stuff like this. while this is portraying it as useless transfers, he can really do a grand tour of the entire solar system with 1 SSTO just eyeballing the trajectories and guesstimating the Delta V needed... most of us would need one year of planning for that and at best 4 months of real life time...

Loved it. Matt Lowne doing a Jool, Eeloo, Eve gravity assist chain to get to Minmus with an SSTO. Danny2462 using Breaking Ground Black magic hacks to get infinite fuel legitimately. Brad Whistance getting to Eve on that... Whatever that is. Stratzenblitz breaking the game. Hazard-ish making an origami space station (that was a badass design BTW). Scott Manley, I was expecting his jovial greeting and some fusion torch drive from FFT or something. And the Ruffles Kerman, that folding wing plane looked cool.

This was actually inspired by a real video where he sent an SSTO on a flyby of every celestial body in the Kerbol system, and then landed on Minmus because he had so much delta V left over.

The joke being that in the real video I attached, Matt Lowne's main objective was the flybys, with the Minmus landing as a last-minute side objective. This video lampoons that (and Matt Lowne's many other SSTO missions based on gravity assists) by claiming that those were all gravity assists to get to Minmus.

Yanno, I've been through a rough patch lately. Watched loads and loads of Matt Lowne videos & really appreciate them; they cheered me up a lot. But... I gotta admit, I laughed out loud at the Matt Lowne segment of this. :D || I might have to look up Piolet; not heard of him. || Loved the Hazard-ish segment too. His videos were what got me into watching KSP videos in the first place. Even this imitation of him is a bit inspirational! XD

danny2462 (my personal favourite): normal player of KSP that sometimes breaks reality in surprisingly unusual ways such as planet crumbling or using the breaking ground DLC or trying to plug the mohole via A FREAKING COMET.

If I were a KSP TH-camr, I'd probably want to be that guy who'd be interested in setting up interplanetary transportation and relay systems (namely by using massive rockets to put lots of things, some large, into space that could be joined together via docking ports, including science landers and planes, and fuel tanks to refuel interplanetary freighters, in orbit above Kerbin, to then be assembled together and shipped to their destinations via interplanetary freighter), and challenging myself to collect all the science that I can, all while doing so on Career mode.
Why not become a KSP TH-camr?

Years ago I watched a TH-camr who played Minecraft, Factorio and KSP and he would mainly goof around in KSP hilariously. Sadly I forgot his name (had a pigman pfp) and can't find his videos anymore.

these mfers are lucky they can even build a spacecraft, im over here trying to stop my sad excuse of a space plane from nose diving.
Space planes are over-rated anyways, since with the Vector engines you can make practically any rocket an SSTO (provided you have Making History so you can get the 5m tanks and the engine plates).
9 vectors on a long 5m tank (or two) is enough to get quite a bit to orbit and still have enough left over to deorbit and land vertically.
... or you could do like I do, and install Nertea's excellent Cryo Engines mod, along with their Near Future Launch Vehicles mod, which lets you make spacecraft that use REAL METHALOX in 5m or 7.5m diameter rockets which makes it a lot easier to make things that are SSTO to a 125km circular equatorial parking orbit with payload masses that are useful to do things in KSP.
And if you choose Hydrolox (another part of Cryo Engines) you can get rockets that do Single Stage (to just about anywhere except Eve and maybe Tylo's surfaces, if you bring along a small ISRU converter and a large drill and a orbital resource scanner, and stop off at Minmus to refuel after launching from Kerbin), thanks to the great specific impulse of hydrogen fueled rocket engines.
You do have to deal with boil-off tho, but that just costs electricity.
