Mid January 2021 we had a great day at N'wanetsi, seeing a crocodile catching an Impala from a small pond in the mildly dry river. He emerged out of nowhere!

Sorry. Another question. How much planing goes into your accommodation/ rest sites. Sometimes it appears you wing it??? Can one do that? Is it possible to head out with only a few confirmed bookings?

We book the entire trip a year in advance to ensure we get exactly what we want in terms of accommodation, out of school holidays you could wing it but I generally prebook the entire trip 🙌

Been a while since I've been there. Hoping to go back to the bush when this whole covid thing is over.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. You just making me a bit bleak. Was supposed to spend 2 weeks in June but don't think that's going to happen any more with school holidays changing due to corona

What size fuel tank do you have? Do you carry extra fuel, and if so how much? I have an FJ cruiser with a 130 liter tank. I’m upgrading to a 200 liter tank. Which should give me a fuel range of +- 2000 kilometers. Would I need to carry extra fuel?
I understand your fuel consumption off road increases, Especially in soft sand.
Thanks for a great vlog, I’m busy binge watching them all right now.

Hey Jonathan, thank you for watching the videos, I really appreciate it! I’ve got the standard 135L tank and in the Kruger it gets me around 1350kms, obviously on the trips through Botswana etc it gets me around 800-900kms 🙌
