    Hey Ed
What an amazing show. I was honoured to have done that route / trip in 2022. It was the best 28 days I’ve had in many years.
I’m so sorry about your beast having issues.
I just wanted to share my story about Toyota Springbok with you. When I did my trip to Nam, I got as far as Clanwilliam on day 1 and my FJ started giving me fuel issues. A very long story short and a very long and slow drive got me to Toyota Springbok. I had them on the phone several times trying to diagnose the issue.
When I got there, it was like a formula 1 pit stop. Literally had four staff unhitch my echo from the fj and shoot it off for a wash. My FJ was up on a ramp in minutes. Within 3.5 hours my fuel tank had been dropped twice. The fuel pump and housing “fixed” as best as they could. Just to get me on the road again. The “fix” is still working…
What an amazing bunch of people. In the end, Toyota only charged me for the parts as their fix wasn’t proper. So no labour. Unbelievable service.
I’ll never get the corrugations out of my memory. My FJ drives like a cloud. I remember screaming for it to stop. Hahahaha.
I’d do it again tomorrow if I could. Pretty scary how the costs can rocket though.
Next on my wish list is Botswana.
Thanks for being such a legend.
    ✌🏻

Breathtaking Namibia 😊 Really enjoyed your epic trip & I do agree with you about people who destroy things & are loud & inconsiderate to others. And to the mechanic who stole your parts & messed up your vehicles, may he never have another customer. No excuse for cheaters like that in the world. Loved the beautiful elephants & the sight of the lion behind that bush was priceless. Looked like the bush was the lion’s body. Great job, Edward. 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♀️🇺🇸🐘

The wildlife is amazing in this video. I want to re-watch every second of this footage. It must be the heat, and being relieved to be at the waterholes, but the animals seem so calm. I really want to learn about the birds, since I only recognize some of them. The sections about your kit, and in other videos, the driving conditions, are fascinating in their own way, but the wildlife is everything. And what friends, who slow to the pace of the friend who needs help the most. I loved that Glen would spend all day getting you to your newly fixed vehicle, but stop for good wildlife sightings on the way home.

Edward, I know that you did have trouble especially with the cars and that filming and editing is also just hard work and it did cost you a lot of money, but man are you blessed being able to do these trips several times per year. I love how you eminate that in your comment.

That being said die video content and the scenery is absolutely amazing and the creative photography is bloody well done.

Binge watched all 3 episodes. Awesome to watch. Nothing better than the sounds of the Etosha at night.. About your vehicle issues.. your "calmness" about the "special" person who worked on your vehicle..wow. Not sure I could not mention who they are.. Hope they sorted you out.. About the various campsites.. so true..some in need of maintenance...whereas others, all it takes is every person to do their part. CAYG( CLEAN AS YOU GO). And as for Toyota Dealerships.. they are awesome..Throughout SA.. Namibia..Generally, they are very very helpful. Stay safe!!

I've loved these three videos. I'm going to Namibia, mainly Etosha, in a few months and have been viewing a lot of You tube videos. Yours is without a doubt the best I've seen. Your narrative thread and your on-camera presence are top notch, as are your filmmaking skills. (I'm in the film industry in Los Angeles, BTW, if that matters...). But for a lovely journey, total balls-out off-roading and the stunning Etosha photography you really are the best. I used to do some off-roading in the Mojave desert, Death Valley and the like and I wanted my youth and my old 4x4 back watching you do Van Zyl's Pass. Gripping. Anyway, I'll try to donate. Thanks for these vids. I really did enjoy.

Howzit Ed, thank you for a great video. We've done Etosha twice, the last visit was 6 years ago (it is an expensive trip and long drive). Your videos have inspired us to plan another trip. Next time you're up there try and stay at Onguma Tamboti Campsite (outside the Namutomi gate, Etosha). Very lekker campsite.
How was your experience with the big overlanding trucks packed with foreigners speeding through Etosha. We had a couple close calls in the park! One particular (red) truck came past us at around 100kph. Wild! And then another shocking experience was when 3 trucks decended on us while viewing a leopard in a tree, completely blocking our view. A few choice words were exchanged but "they" didn't give a sh1t!
Once again, we feel really bad for you regarding your 100 series. It is amazing how it's always (and only) human beings that disappoint us in life! Please give us an update on your 200 series (I see she is back home).
Until we see you again, Hlala Kakuhle.

I follow your channel religiously and have added most of your venues and suggestions to my "wish" list. Although the outcome of this planned part of this trip was somewhat bogged, I appreciate the jaw-dropping footage but mostly the eye-watering waterhole scenes because I love southern Africa that much. Over-landing is not easy and that comes with sharing your bathrooms with lions but the undertone of this episode smacks of a very specific "people" do not share our view of being a privileged visitor in that space and time with no a respect towards the environment. Let's keep it LEKKER !

Agree with you 100% about people, they have no respect at all, and as you say it's not all people but the majority do not have have any respect.

Good rant Ed...there are indeed some very feral overlanders out there...sometimes wonder if some of them were ever potty trained by their mothers

    I love Ed’s and Ryan’s vids
Just one question…if you’re kitted with enough water etc…. Why do you stay in camps?
Personally I’d rather stay in the bush

Clearly you guys underestimated Namibia. This is evident from your planning. You dont travel at night, never ever. Perhaps your next Namibia will go better now that you have done your maiden voyage to this beautifl part of the world

Hi Ed- again trip being spoiled by uncaring peoples, it comes down to very simple rule, JUST DO THE RIGHT THING, you don't to be watched on policed all the time. JUST THE RIGHT THING. The speeding guys as well and donuts on a pan, tjo, but anyhow nice content as always except the negatives.

@@EdwardBath tnx , well the car damage damage aside, If you add the fuel, food/drinks, and accommodation and divide by 28 days it works out at about 110 Euros a day which is not bad going. Sorry about the vehicle damages, the mechanic the messed you up is not right. There must be some way you can sue them or at least warn others so that they don't fall prey to him.
