Theis is not be correct way of replacing this front bushing adapter....The front bushing is to be torqued when wishbone is under press. And also, noe should align the 18mm bolt to the subframe using alignment bolt to avoid re-alignment of Toe in/out. all Bolts should be replaced sine these Are stretch Bolts.... Bushings and Bolts Will probably wear out a lot faster now.
@@riks8888 Sure, I am just referring to what the service manual says when it comes to torqueing wishbone bushings to make them last longer. Regarding alignment, there should not be any problems as long as one use the memory marks from the old one.
Take the first three bolts out, and use a hammer to smash out the bushes. Saves a lot more time
Thanks for the video. This will save me some money.
You made it look to easy. Thank You.

Good Job, really professional, simple works
How much NM should we torque them?
If you are replacing with new bolts the smaller bolts are 50nm +90⁰ turn, bigger bolt 70nm +180⁰ turn 👍 hope that helps
What are the torque specs on those bolts?
I think it's 50Nm +90° on the 2 smaller bolts and 70Nm +90° on the bigger bolt.
ajcsessz that’s around to what I did. I’ll probably re-torque them this weekend to be sure
@@rex_s80 what type of car do you have?
I got the values from an mk6 golf manual.
ajcsessz my sister has a 2011 VW Tiguan. I have a 99 Volvo S80. I work on my family’s cars for them. I just don’t know much about VW yet.

No point torquing them bolts they've already been stretched
Dont use an extension when torquing the bolts to correct spec also bolts should be replaced in an ideal world
