Never had the pleasure of owning a volvo,but,theres something so simple and pure,but "classy"about that interior...minus the touch screens and haptic everything nowadays...have interiors come on that far really?...lovely lines inside and out,and so practical too,and built like a tank...whats not to like?...
I might get mine back one day, if its ever finished. Top trivia, the Estate cars became the saloons in later life, they literally chopped the roof and rear quarters etc and converted the cars to saloons. Jason Minshaw told me, he who owns the original one you see at Goodwood etc, his was converted from a saloon back to the original Estate spec when he bought it.
There did not cant the whole engine over. They machined the surface of the cylinder head at a different angle to the deck of the block, to get the same sort of effect of canting the valves.
