My husband’s in ICU in an induced coma on Midazolam, he’s not waking up, should he have Propofol?

I have had multiple general anaesthesics. Times I used propofol without midazolam, woke up normally with minimal grogginess. When given midazolam twice, only a small single dosage, it took me hours to shake off the tiredness. I dare to think how if someone is being continually dosed with midazolam, or any benzo for some length of time they can do anything.
