    Bubble is for no-coders, FF is for coders with at least 2-3 years knowledge of coding. If anyone think FF is easy well you probably building very basic apps, just saying ;)

      Thanks for your comment! I think it really depends on your starting point if you know basic programming and database principles.
      I teach students in bootcamp with minimal experience and they are using a MVP with api integration an application that they are using daily for their business.
      Yup it depends what you clarify as basic.
      Feel free add more details of what you classify as a basic app.

    Yeah I agree with you about bubble there unfortunately heading down the shitification road. It's sad it always happens you know and it's because of the VC funding. I noticed a change at the last well bubble meet up. And I pleaded with them to keep the hobbyist level were for free we can run a nap even if it's just a minimal use case. But now they seem to have given up on the hobbyist and are focusing on businesses because businesses pay and hobbyists just seem to take up resources. Like so many businesses I think they've forgotten their roots. But you know they're the leader in the space now so I guess they don't care anymore. I just used to love the time when I could just play with an idea and experiment with it without feeling a lot of financial pressure. Maybe flutter flow is that new tool. Cuz I get ideas all the time and I don't want to have to pay 36 a month just to be able to send them to my friends test out. And after using bubble for almost 5 years I have to say that it's a pretty steep learning curve to get a release ready app out there. It's kind of deceiving when they say I'll build Airbnb and 10 minutes or whatever that's not true and there are performance issues you pretty much have to be a developer or have the mentality of a developer to make the apps even though there's no coding.

    • @docwilliams
      @docwilliams  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Glad that you are here! That's a great question! This depends on what you want to learn how to build. Bubble you could build about 95% of most requested applications but you will have to stay in the bubble ecosystem.
      FF if I was focused on mainly mobile applications, you want the best mobile experience and you want to add some custom code and scale into code I would look into FF.
      It also depends on the workflow you would prefer.
      So that's a long response but it depends lol.

    I'm trying to build an on-demand food delivery service and I like flutterflow because I can use supabase for my app. I don't like being tied down to any deals as it kills competition and make the consumer lose their free will too. This video just reinforced my mindset.
    Ps. I tried buying a template from Bubble initially it sounded easy too, but going further through the FAQs I realized there was so much more to do unlike how straightforward it was with Flutterflow and how easy it was for me to build the app UI myself with the first training.
