You created the most BEAUTIFUL box ever out of nothing. BRAVO 💖
Thank you so much!
Louise, the moment I saw your thumbnail I was thinking of Korean inlay and lacquer work.
I'd have glued a mirror to the other side of the coaster. This is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Louise, this is absolutely stunning. So pretty and nostalgic. I love it. You're so talented and patient x
Beautiful! You are a true inspiration. I have a black lacquer story from my childhood too. My best friend was from Japan and when I admired the box she had in her bedroom she gave it to me! I don’t think her mother was happy about it but we were only five or six. I still have it. 🥹
OMG 😮😮😮😮😮 THAT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I HAVE SEEN YET!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤❤❤ YOU ARE SO TALENTED AND INSPIRATIONAL
I can see that jewelry box. My dad was in the Korean War and bought a black jewelry box and matching photo album with the beautiful abalone shell design. I have the jewelry box and my brother the album. This turned out out gorgeous.
A beautiful box, I have a jewellry box in black laquer with beautiful paintings on it, I treasure.
In 1980 I lived in s. Korea. I know exactly the inlays you’re talking about. Your box is an awesome rendering of the beautiful inlayed black lacquer furniture. Bravo!
Rub and buff may have made the corners more satisfying. This is just gorgeous. I will make this for my youngest daughter for Christmas.
Oh my goodness, Louise, you are absolutely amazing. I have been following you for years and all of your stuff is gorgeous and brilliant. This takes my breath away.!
The pieces are beautiful. The length of the video was worth it!😊❤
Stunning isn’t even close to how beautiful this is. Just amazing. Next time you should put a mirror in the lid, especially since you plan to recess it.
Oh, I love that story about your Dad and the jewelry box! Would love to see it. 💕😊 Oh, my goodness, those shells from Laura...Exquisite! 😘 💕
That box is *gorgeous,* Louise! The lid decoration...mmm-waaah! 😘😍
Hit post too soon! I LIVE the legs and hinges! 💕 Brilliant idea to spray it with black!
Louise, WOW! ❤ Absolutely gorgeous and I so loved that you shared that beautiful memory of when you were little. Hearing little things like that let's us connect with you more as an individual artist and I can so relate. My mother too had a beautiful jewellery box that I greatly admired when I was very young, then lucky enough to have been given it when I was a teenager when she upgraded hers. Your lid is absolutely stunning and yes, the shells are just beautiful aren't they! ❤❤
What a Fab Idea, Louise! ❤ the colors and extra touches AND your way of thinking 'outside the box', pun intended😊. Can't wait to see the next seashell pieces vid!
Brilliant idea fixing the Mold. Very impressive. And so glad to have watched this before I started painting the eco. Thanks Louise!
So pretty Louise. The shells are gorgeous and the black spray paint was a good idea.
I know exactly what you meant..the abalone shell and others are so pretty. Stunning box! I like your out of the box projects as they are very inspiring!
What a beautiful story. Thank you for sharing it. The box is gorgeous! ❤
The only thing I would have done in addition (if I thought of it before I finished the project 😜) would be to sand the top of the box and bottom of the lid on a piece of sandpaper on a flat surface. I think it would make the two pieces fit together better. But I love this! Thank you so much for your creativity!
I absolutely love this! Such a beautiful little box! ❤ I could almost picture the little box you were describing that your mom has. My mother had something similar when I was a child. I was just as in love with it as you were with your mother’s.
Absolutely Stunningly Gorgeous ❤ Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful story and talent with us all ❤ Take great care and keep creating and smiling ❤❤
Wow....that was absolutely amazing, such a beautiful box.. Just my 1 cent
That is stunning. I have a grand daughter who would cherish it.
Put a mirror on your coster it would make kind of a theme it is sooooooo gorgeous it's my project for tomorrow thank
That is the most stunning resin box I've seen. Absolutely incredible ❤
Thank you for sharing x
Louise, that box is stunning. Great how it turned out.
I love this box as well as your nail polish. I'm glad you didn't use the corner pieces. 😊
Oh lou, this is truly incredible. Your skill and creativity is impeccable xxx
I'm a resin artist and making boxes is my thing.
This is beautiful Louise 😊
Gorgeous! Hard to believe that's resin!
Another beautiful project, I love your longer videos.

You just out did yourself, again. What an INCREDIBLE artist you are. STUNNING AS USUAL. Thank you
Beautiful!! I love the shells, the hinges & your creativity. 🎉
That box is incredibly stunning! Thank you for sharing it! ❤
Thank you so much Pamela x
What a super gorgeous box. WELL DONE!
You did a fabulous job. I love when you use your molds in ways that they weren’t intended for.
Love it and the story behind it. I would put a small mirror on the coaster for more of a boudoir look. Thanks for sharing. :)
Beautiful. I think the coaster could be backed with a circular mirror. It will be a perfect little handheld mirror.
The lid is stunning. It looks incredible.
This is absolutely 💯 beautiful, Luise 💜
Thank you very much ❤️
Stunning as usual, inspiration to all artists everywhere. Thank you for sharing your process.
Thank you so much!
My dad, who was in the army, purchased a beautiful musical jewellery box with the mother of pearl inlaid into the lid whilst he was away abroad in the late 50s or 60s. I still have it somewhere to this day, but th ballerina doesn't stay on when I open it now due to a little damage and age. I agree that against the black lacquered effect, it is gorgeous. I am totally in love with the one you have made. My mother's jewellery box is lined with red velvet. The workmanship they put into these beautiful boxes is awesome. I also still have a full pure silk pyjama set with fur and slippers in its own box from the same country the jewellery box came from. I think it is Japanese, but both my parents are sadly not with me anymore, so I am not sure exactly the origin it is originally from. I have downloaded this video because I love the box you made so much.
You could glue a mirror to the underside of the coaster and turn it into a small hand mirror.
Absolutely gorgeous
I love your story about the box from Korea! Your box is beautiful❤
Just gorgeous! I love abalone shells too, they are so beautiful on your ebony box. Your Laura’s Art Corner items are so pretty, you are going to have so much fun adding them in future pieces. I tried to shop on her site a while ago but, at that time she only excepted Pay Pal, which I don’t use. She definitely has great resin products. Thinking outside the box is one of the things I love about your channel. You did a wonderful job as usual.😊
The box turned out gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful your flower definitely added extra beauty! Maybe you could make the lid thinner as an alternative too
I love all your videos! I just can’t wait for more and more and more!!!❤❤❤
Oh my is that piece just GORGEOUS!! ❤Thank you for the wonderful video!!
Thank you so much!
Hi Louise love everything about this story, how you made it and how it turned 😍, wow what an order from Laura, love the shells, thanks for sharing ❤❤ xxx
Get a smaller chuck for your Dremel, then tiny drill bits fit. Love your lid.

Absolutely beautiful. Love, love the box. Thanks for showing us❤
I just came across your channel with the wonderful egg holders first & now this lovely box. Your voice is so kind and beautiful, I couldn't think who your voice reminded me of, then I remembered...like Glinda from the Wizard of Oz, only, across the pond : )
What a lovely comment, this really warmed my heart, thank you. Yes I can see what you mean about Glenda, I loved her voice so it is a real compliment xxx
That is very beautiful 😍
You are so creative!
I thought the little coaster was a dresser mirror.
This is beautiful the lid looks perfect and solid love it thank you Louise 😊
That is absolutely beautiful!! I really love abalone shells, too. I can't believe there is adhesive backed shell that you can actually cut! That could be used for so many things. I have got to try to get some!
I love the box,it's absolutely gorgeous.
Just gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your work. You are very talented
Another stunning piece and lots of chuckles and inspiration Thanks for starting my day with a smile, Louise.
That box is beautiful.
I love the box, it's lovely. The coaster reminds me of a small hand mirror! I wonder if you could make a mold out of it with a place for a small round mirror on one side... If it worked, it would make a lovely gift set! Thank you for another wonderful tutorial, Louise.
Oh I can’t wait to see this one. This is exactly why I bought the veneers
Simply gorgeous Louise!
So beautiful. So nice that it brings back memories for you. I love the shell slices as well. I actually had one of those black lacquer jewelry boxes with the alabaster inlays. I loved it as well
The box is beautiful, love the little flower you made its gorgeous , the shells are amazing

Wow! I love it. You are so patient. I want my creations done yesterday. 🤣 My sister had one the jewellery boxes that your mom had/has and I always admired it. I just ordered from Laura’s Art Corner and got myself some of those shells you ordered from her, the blue-purple mix, and I used your code, thanks so much. I’m trying to figure out how to use it them. 🤔
Absolutely gorgeous. Love this idea...

Wow! So pretty!❤❤ Just found your channel. I'm glad I did. I'm looking forward to more of your videos❤❤.
21:43 - if you had done that then you risk not having the cavity in the exact same spot as you had it on the bottom then it wouldn’t line up right.
Absolutely gorgeous! ❤❤
STUNNING!!❤️
Beautiful Louise.
Beautiful & great tutorial for ideas & procedures 😊
Absolutely stunning box xx
