Very nice. I have plans to model a portion of the Pennsy in HO scale, though I don't believe my layout will be quite as large as this, and my layout will feature more of a mountain town than a bustling metropolis.
@@landonthetrain That's quite interesting and impressive. I don't have room for a shelf layout (too many doors where I'd want it), but my plans are for a 4 x 10' main oval with industry sidings and reversing loops, as well as a (just under) 1.5' wide x 9' long yard.
@@landonthetrain Indeed. I initially wanted to try and operate my model railroad as close to prototypical rules as possible, but then realized that would take away a good portion of the fun. I'm also enlisting the help of folks from my model railroad club to help build the layout, as while I've spent the better part of five years planning it, I don't have very much in the way of construction skills.

My layout is a 16x14 shelf style layout in the shape of a G, it's only 2 feet wide the whole way around!
