I agree! Very safe vehicle. I was recently involved in a head on collision 😮 at about 40mph with a larger RAV4 and I lived to tell the tale. It crumpled up nicely. I did have a fractured wrist but that could have been the way I stiffened up while braking. Mine was a 2018 Kona Limited and I loved it. That’s why I just got another Kona because of the safety and it’s a fun ride 😊 and they hold their value pretty well.
Quick correction, it’s the Nu family of Hyundai Kona engines that has the service bulletin on it. I may have mentioned the Theta series of engines in this video.
My 2020 Kona has a non turbo , 2wd. I dont need AWD even when it snows . I enjoy it daily. I have 39,000 miles on it. Atkinson engine i believe. Im gonna try to pay it off.

I’m glad you are OK! I always felt safe in my Kona.

The 2WDs are fine but I like the push the rear wheels give when the AWD kicks in.
