Funny enough - you mention no logo on the key fob. The whole key fob is a Hyundai logo. The buttons on the front of the key fob form the black area of a Hyundai logo. 😊
The thing i HATE about it is when you try to speed to turn left it doesn't , it just slows down, i talked to the Hyundai mechanic and they said thats normal on these vehicles. Im like its damn dangerous, how is it gonna slow down when ur trying to beat the car thats coming on the opposite side of the road for u to turn left.
For all your talk about spaceships you totally missed the most spaceship'e thing on the car. The black vents under the grill that open and close on their own for all to see 😉
I am currently leasing a 2022 Kona Limited (got it October 2021) and seriously considering this 2024 Kona Limited AWD for my next crossover. Yes, the engine is the same as what I have now -- the 1.6 Liter Turbo was NEVER part of any engine recall -- and I do love the "Stormtrooper/Star Wars" look. Only thing that makes me go "hmmm" is the 26 mpg!! I'm also looking at the new Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid -- 42 mpg! -- but the jury is still out which one I get next year. I did sit in a new Kona last week (at dealership for an oil change). The Keyfob has the H logo sideways, the .... is Morse Code for the letter "H", and that Self Park on the keyfob is so cool! The gear selector is easy. Turn forward to Drive, turn backward to Reverse, and push in to Park.
2nd Comment: Watched your other video on the 2024 Kia Niro PHEV SX Turbo and I'm looking at both vehicles now. Kona is the right amount of FUNKY, while the Kia is a bit "tired" with a smaller trunk space than Kona. I may wind up with the Kona because when it comes to servicing, the KIA dealerships in my geographic area are all SCAM ARTISTS and ALL of them have 1-2 stars on both Yelp and Google Reviews!!!
I love the Robocop styling. The wheels are ugly, but suit the design. I love the 1970s concept car looking interior. Hyundai did a great job overall. It's just getting too damn expensive. As for being cheaper than the Ford Escape, the Escape has gotten absurdly, laughably expensive.
Thats just it, there was a recall, and it has been addressed, and fixed for those that had any issues. We recommend the Kona so much, that we set up our own mom with a new one!
I'm driving a 2022 Kona Limited now and a 2019 Kona Limited before that. The 1.6L Turbo was NEVER part of the massive engine recalls. That would be the 2.0 liter non-turbo base engines. Probably getting a 2024/2025 Kona Limited in the fall as I should be getting a better deal as a loyalty customer.
I have 5 Hyundai over the years I lease I don’t buy. Boricua, I never have a recall, yesterday I got me the 2024 Kona men I am in love with that car.good luck.
Rims on the car, don't like. All kona trim levels should have the nline rims. They are nice and sporty. The cladding. TO to much. They need to make the cars all one color like the nline.
The 4 dots on the steering wheel is a morse code H.

Good point!

Also that key is the Hyundai logo itself 🤌
Wheels appropriately funky

under 3000 rpm nobody's home? what does that mean?
It’s more of a buck Rodger’s silon than a Star Wars storm trooper!
Even knight Rider 2000

Would you recommend me buying one but the only worries is the engine since they been having recalls.

@@ttc_cars Thanks for you responds I will consider getting one.

Not the 1.6T. That engine has always been good.
I LOVE this vehicle!!! I wish you could get the spoiler on the Limited. Maybe a black package. Would be perfect. Maybe a pano roof.
Would you recommend buying one for a family member?
Absolutely! We liked it so much that we set our mom up with one.
I recommend the Kona 2024 Sel for any body, Iam very happy with mine.
Not me sitting here waiting to buy the same exact car in Ohio lol 😅

제로백은 운전자 한명만 타고 측정하는것과 2명이 타서 측정하는 것은 다르다.1,2초 늦게 된다.
I hate that the highest trim car still has a gas cap. Go capless.
Those of us living in NJ don't care! We are the only State left who DOESN'T pump our own gasoline!
@@Steve_in_NJ what about when you go anywhere else outside of your tiny state? 😂 then you’re gonna be like wow I have to twist off this gas cap
@@Kockodilecommon man,twist the thing
Capless is way more expensive to fix / replace when it breaks, VS just getting a new gas cap which is cheap and easy.
@@FSAPOJakehow often do gas caps break?
