The second issue is you can't take away the big run plays when talking about yards per carry and then also not mention that sacks are taken away from rushing yards.
Ole Miss played Kentucky almost identically to Georgia. Stop acting like this was some one side matchup. Comparing the two games, Ole Miss had about 100 more yards of total offense compared to Georgia. Georgia got a turnover and Ole MIss turned the ball over in the red zone on a drive that very well may have iced the game.
Joe was 100% correct. The Ole Miss secondary is horrendous. The d line was terrific.

I think Ole Miss D is still pretty good IMO, it took a great 4th & 7 throw from Vandagriff to get Kentucky in position to eventually make the go ahead score.
If South Carolina can take Kentucky's approach and dominate the time of possession and Sellers can get comfortable and throw on time (was doing better of that vs LSU), then SC could potentially pull off the upset.

Kentucky isnt a better team than USC and isnt playing better, they do the same thing every week. Looks to me like the competition was easier for KY last week. Ole Miss defense was atrocious and their only play was to hold KY receivers all day and flop. This will piss off the refs if they do it 2 weeks in a row and now that Bama is solidified as the SEC playoff rep, no more pushing these 2nd tier teams into the playoffs. Bottom line, USC has a better defense and offense than KY and Ole Miss is facing first SEC road game. They will get a lot of yards and not a lot of points. COCKS become bowl eligible Saturday and prove all you haters wrong.

blake does not know ball. Bro Ole Miss's defense is the single reason kentucky didn't win by more than they did. There are so many studs on that dline. Nolen, Princely, Ivy, Pegues, perkins, elcholes, harris, franklin. Blake just showed us he didn't watch the game. Ole Miss's dline is one of if not the best dline in the country. It's all about matchup. South Carolina is only successful when they run the ball. Ole Miss actually shut down Kentucky's run game. They got after Vandagriff. South Carolina doesn't have a good oline. I expect Ole Miss's defense to dominate this game.
Not to mention Paul, Dottery, and Coleman at Linebakcer who are also studs. If the ole miss dbs can quit committing penalties, ole miss's defense will be able to shut down anyone they want.
