Juice Wells has a big role to play against South Carolina but is this the week Ole Miss fans see Ulysses Bentley?

It's to the point of conspiracy theory stuff when it comes to the running backs room.
I'll start mine....Lane was gonna save Bentley and Amos for a few more games, because he was counting on being able to handle Kentucky and SC with Parrish and Jones. He had planned on bringing them back and being part of the LSU game plan. Why? Don't know but it sounds as plausible as anything we've heard at any press conferences this year. 🤷🤷

@@bryanwesley5410I think this is the story for the offense as a whole. Trying their best to not give away anything too early and then the game getting away from them. That's old school ole miss thinking. We have the talent to impose our will, just go do it

I was actually thinking along the same lines, like if that's what they're doing, why???, just go out there and do ur thing and kick teeth in, hell, bama and Georgia don't hold stuff back they just dominate and win, there's no need to keep stuff hidden, instead of hiding it just use it and show how many ways we can beat u and the do so.@brianscobey4770

Lots of fans and the SC players feel like Juice Wells. betrayed them last year. After 2022, Juice took a high 6 figure NIL deal for South Carolina and then only played in two games because of a foot "injury". Word is that the trainers and coaches felt he was well enough to play in several games last year but refused. Then jumps ship for a even bigger NIL check at Ole Miss. This is not what SC fans think happened. IT'S WHAT HAPPENED. Just because he needed surgery, doesn't mean he couldn't still play. Those things aren't mutually exclusive. This isn't lost on SC players or Fans. SC has 3 players in their defensive backfield that will play on Sundays, Nick Emmanwori, DQ smith and O'Donnell Fortune. I won't call it headhunting, but those guys want to send a message to their former teammate. I fear he's in for a LONNNGGG day in Columbia...

You’re very wrong about SC defense. SC defense is significantly better than Kentucky. LSU has the best OL in the nation and SC dominated up front and Nuss threw 2 pick 6’s that were negated by bs penalties. SC DL is top 3 in the nation

Saturday it looked like the 2017-18 ole miss offense out on the field. Instead of AJ brown they were looking for Tre Harris. I’m still not satisfied with the explanation Lane had given about the offensive play calling.

I’m sorry, but somebody has to say it….there is a clear bias against Ole Miss in terms of officiating. I’ve been coaching and officiating football for 35 years. They are allowing egregious PI and Holding against Ole Miss while calling weak or non existent penalties against Ole Miss usually at the worst possible time to extend opponents drives.
Lane has to also get in the ear of the officials. This is absurd.
The push off for the go ahead TD is called 10/10 times, except us.
The push off called against Tre Harris in the previous week didn’t happen.
There is clearly a plan to take ole miss out of the running and protect Bama, Ga and others.

Personally as unbiased as I can be I think all rebs fans are butt hurt that Kentucky made the game muggy and are so quick to point fingers at the play calling and offense. Kentucky did the same thing to Georgia and Georgia fans reacted the same exact way saying “fire bobo”. Maybe it’s time to admit that Kentucky has a damn good defense and give credit where it’s due. I went and rewatched the South Carolina game and even though it looks like it was a blow out, Kentucky was still in that game till about 10 mins left in the 4th. Kentucky will win games with great defense and a decent offense
