There is people that hated Star Trek: Enterprise just because of the intro soundtrack, well it is less epic than the all other series but it's wonderful too. It is the post first-contact with the Vulcans, the first Romulan war, the first ideas of exploring and diplomacy, of discovering new lifes and new Civilizations, and then birth of the Federarion arc. It was the beginning, and the music and intro showing other ships called Enterprise, wood ships and etc give the climate to the exploring the universe alike. Picard said, "did you remember when we were just explorers?" I remember the crew that made the Federation creating the idead of being explorers instead of just a military alliance, and it was the Enterprise NX-0 crew that made it possible.
i agree with you there, I enjoy every trek show and each have their own way of being similar but still able to be trek even if its not blatantly obvious its still trek and i love it... i don't care if hardcore nerds say "new trek sucks" it's good in its own way and its just nostalgia talking most of the time when people say crap like that... again I AGREE WITH YA BUDDY and you 100% deserved that pin ^-^
I always loved that show because they truly are the epitome of explorers. They know nothing their tech suck it's amazing. Somehow I feel closer to them with our space tech nowadays.
@@mtjoy747 Thanks people who really hated Star Trek: Enterprise for having lasted only 4 seasons because it should have lasted at least 7 seasons, the writting and plot was good, about Scott Bakula, it's not that he acted bad at all, it is the others who acted extremely well, we are in a franchise that had even a shakespearean actor, Patrick Stewart acting as a captain, Captain Jonathan Archer was well portrayed, it's a bold captain that knows how to take risks and having good ideas like alliances and exploration, I consider him the man who had the idea of what the United Federation of Planets really constitutes, yet, the other actors bright more in most episodes, specially Jolene Blalock, who made T'Pol, and in a lot of episodes shows better even than Spock how a Vulcan mind and culture works, she is was not just a beauty, she really personified a real Vulcan on the ship even in love to the extreme. It is not that Scott Bakula is bad actor at all, it is the other actors and actress who performed extremely well in this wonderful prequel.
There was no Prime Directive in this series. I found that so refreshing, so much so that in the first season when Archer was told the Vulcans don't interfere until they deem a civilization ready, he just said "Starfleet has no directive". I was like Yeah!! I liked the underdog feel of humanity being seen as children on the cosmic scale. Because we are. Archer was always saying things like "We are from Earth. This is our first time out here. Would you like to come aboard our ship? Who are you?". The crew was literally learning as they went, just like the audience. The line about reaching Neptune , and back in 6 minutes was said with such excitement. The way the Vulcans withheld technology, just like Starfleet would later go on to do. The crew just felt so real, so much closer than any of the other series.

For 5 years, I've been attending Community College and I'm now taking Calculus and passing after taking it for, officially, the 2nd time. And all this time, my family has looked at all this work as a joke and waste of time. But look at me now 🤷♂️😏

My view on this song is that yes, it's different to normal Trek, but so is Enterprise because it's pre Federation. Earth pre-Federation was only what, 100 years post the major wars of the 21st century, and only just into it's time as a spacefaring civilisation. Of course the world was very US centric pre-war and it makes sense that echos of that national oriented culture will ring into the 22nd century but be entirely gone by the 23rd and beyond.
Nice, but if "NCIS" had a theme song instead of a tune, it might not have lasted as long. IF "Enterprise" were to ever be renewed, I'd advise just a piece-like the one played in 'In A Mirror, Darkly' and show the characters in great video. The song is nice, but too long and I find myself fast-fowarding it to get to the episode each time. Change the video-but maybe keep the same tune each season. That worked for "NCIS" for 18 seasons. Worked for "MFU" 4.

A highly inspirational song that gets me motivated every time I listen to it. This was one of my songs of choice in my car, on the way to work everyday. Also a rather perfect song of hope for our modern day space explorers.

i will always love Star Trek Enterprise series. It's strange but it's the series that I want mostly to be part of the crew.
