They have adapted to live in the wild, hence the fur. They don’t have heating and shelter from weather like us.

That’s hilarious - Kiyomasa doesn’t share his dad’s enjoyment of the rain 🌧️ I love how they walk upright more when it rains, I don’t think they enjoy it on their hands/knuckles. Kiyomasa mustn’t like it on the soles of his feet either because he ran back inside using only his heels, trying to keep the rest of his feet off the ground. Isn’t it funny - humans do the same thing especially when we have to walk through puddles 😂

They are surely different from Mountain Gorrilas the legendary "Titus" had a way of singing as he ate and due to the plants and trees never need to drink. I'm surprised his son Kiyo is still in the enclosure. His mating with his mom and sisters will definitely get him hurt. Nonetheless I love watching great apes behaviors.

love to see them interact with their surroundings, like playing with the bucket - but something tells me that the gorillas are very thirsty, trying to lick drops of water off of the ground or off of their hair with their hands. these gorillas need some type of moving water feature in their enclosure so they can drink if they want/need.
I love gorillas, I'm old time 300 pound strong man I bend steel. Horse shoes nails wrenches pick up cars and I'm a weakling compared to these Beasley giants. What is so cool , Silverbacks are very caring of and the young ones. Unbelievable time spent training and separation of fights between siblings. They are very sensitive and don't allow bullying! Truly amazing characters ❤️

I think they thirsty . Annie was scooping water off the ground nd off. Her back into her mouth and she kept checking the bucket and banging on the door for her handlers to fill it.
