So... that Cat has a Yanmar Engine, but the Yanmar does not.
Odd.
The Takeuchi has the highest arm and bucket breakout force, despite the engine being not as powerful. I wonder how that is? I would think the Takeuchi would be the best because the bucket breakout force is what means the most.

Why Not Kubota u-10?
The CAT has a yanmar engine and the yanmar has a Perkins. The diesel engine market is funny
And. ... Cat own Perkins. So the Cat has Yanmar and the Yanmar has Cat.

Most all of manufacturing is that way. Maybe not to a significant degree, but more than most buyers would assume, there's a lot of buddy buddy - handshake deals and trades. Heavy equipment, auto industry, tools, etc.

Why would yanmar not put a yanmar engine in their own machine??!!
Strange, but I guess it has maybe has to do with the architecture...
because they most likely don't build small 2 cylinder engines that qould fit into the SV08!? U see that very often, especially with manufactures that usually don't offer any small, budget friendly machines but because their a market for such "hobby"-machines they often can't use their own parts. You should always check that before spending money on a smaller machine from a known manufacture, sometimes they offer thrm too pricey if e.g. their good engines are replaced by other, less quality, engines where it csn later be a problem when looking for parts and especially Service. i don't know the 2 cylinder yanmar used in the SV08-1D, just try to find some Infos about it online, if you can't find much or missing specs like in the Video it's most likely a 'throw away engine'..
should've chosen the Yanmar ViO12 instead
