Hey, I’m stuck first of all let me say this you don’t a great job you doing things that nobody is trying to teach us so great job on that as I said I’m stuck I get to the part where you say look for the files that’s not there so I’m wondering do I need to make this file on the computer and then drag it over tothe 15th I don’t know but if you need to show me more detail I can either give you my email or my phone number and we can you can walk me through it. SuperDell you are brilliant 👏 😀. I followed all the steps but got stuck when installing. Apk file. I am getting a pop-up saying for security, your tablet is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source 😑. Is there any way around to it ?

thanks for this video until 15 minutes :) i also switched the language to English but i dont see the folder files. All steps befored were also done. What could be the problem or there are some other folders with direct downlad / install apk rights? Thanks in advance.

I'm having an issue getting passed the point where I copy the apk's to the download folder but when I go under app manager>systems, I don't find the folder "File". Can you advise / suggest something I can try or maybe I have missed something
Amazon has removed the "Files" App with the latest update. Until now there is no way to install downloaded .apk files anymore.
I'm very interested in new ideas how to install apk files.

the file folder/option is not showing in my eco show. what should I do please suggest.
I think Amazon restricted the Files Folder from being access. If not correct can someone share with me if they see it. It have worked before I had my SONOS app working great and now my SONOS needs an update, I was sideloading the new version and when i got to the FILES folder it doesn't exist anymore
Yeah, it appears that Amazon has somehow hidden it so we cannot access it.

I followed this video couple months ago. worked perfectly. Today 6/2/2023 I tried to do it again, the "files" button is gone. Not there. I've read that apparently they mightve caught on. Any help would be great or any other work around
The same with me. I can even put it to install, but it blocks. If I click on settings (at installation time) nothing happens. Hoping for help here too.

Yes, some apps from the Amazon app store are disabled for installation. I tried nova video player, and it wouldn't Install from the Amazon app store, so I sideloaded the app

@Gainfranco Ludovici unfortunately from the research I’ve been doing it seems Amazons blocked this work around for anyone who’s doing the install the past week. All the people I’ve seen have had the issue past week and nothing about any other work around for now. If I find anything I’ll let you know and if you find anything just keep me posted
