When the update came to the show15 for FireTV, the geniuses at Amazon made it so the Show15 will no longer connect to the FireTV Recast device. Gone is live local TV and access to recorded TV on the Recast device. All other Fire Sticks and Fire Cubes still connect to the Recast device and have FireTV. Go figure 🤔....
There is now another method to install apps, but I haven't been able to do it yet
It won't let you install Downloder and even if you manage to install it by other means, it won't let you install other third-party APKs either.

No, it's preloaded on there. Amazon owns that app I believe.
