I’ve been loving these IRL interviews. Love the usual twitch stuff too, but this is a cool change up since you can actually see the callers and it’s in a different location every time
Everyone does unless they actively choose not to most of the time, or if their accent is too thick. There is a standard 'singing accent'/'pop accent' that people use because it appeals to the masses (America) more, it's basically a subconscious thing to do at this point.
@@idellekell in the UK it's known as being "on tag". Most are curfew tags that check that you've returned to your home between set hours. So he'll most likely be able to do whatever he wants in the day but has to get home before his curfew kicks in.
Americans, you need to realise no one drops their accent fully when they sing. You can usually tell from tones and rounding. E,g. When Amy Winehouse sang, you could tell the tonality, but not the accent. Think about it, does someone from Baltimore drop their accent when they sing? There is defo differences between British singers & Americans…
Yes tf you do. Y’all have no type of British accent which is weird when you guys have a ton of British accents, but none when you sing. 99 percent of y’all are like this, that’s how we know y’all intentionally drop it because of the 1 percent that keep theirs lmao I’ve seen plenty of British people admit it to lol
The accent 100% goes away when they sing
Dude u came to say the same thing I did lmao
Right like is it fake
I heard it too lol
That first guy is legit af wish I had more ppl like that around me

And a more variety of callers because they don’t know what theyre getting into.
"I'm feeling better about all this too... where do you think we go when we die?" 😂
The moment the first guy realized he just needed to talk it out with a therapy gecko 🎉

I like singers from the UK like King Krule who sing in their accent

Being in the UK I was surprised he didn't start ranting about how trans people are destroying western society or something lol
Something tells me that punch story was missing some details.

No such thing as unprompted
Wouldn't call what he said homophobia
