Fun fact... I edited this video myself, rather than the editor I generally outsource to! What do you think?? Should I edit more of my own videos?

I particularly like the section transition screens / dividers; are these from Canva? Thanks!

@@gillianzperkins I am kind of nervous to use Canva anymore. I pay monthly and the payment failed.
So yesterday I got a warning that 100 of my creations were going to have their license revoked if I didn't renew.
I hope to use my online business to retire. Now I find Canva will come after me for my content?!

Great video! I can totally relate to the struggle of spending hours on content creation. I'm glad you found these tools that have made it easier for you, especially Chat GPT, which I've heard a lot about. It's amazing that it can generate ideas for any type of content you want to create, saving you up to 60 minutes per piece. Asana seems like a great project management tool as well, and I love how you use it to manage all of the content you create. The kanban board layout looks very organized and user-friendly. And the fact that it's free is even better! I'm also intrigued by Uscreen and how it can help monetize your content by creating your own branded membership site. Thanks for sharing these tools with us! 🥰

Thanks for not just listing resrouces; you present RL examples of how you are using it. Since many of us are high 'visual' on the VARK scale, these videos are super-valuable!!

Great content on best tools to produce content faster! Besides Canva for video editing, I myself would recommend Descript, Camtasia, and Vegas Pro for windows, which Vegas is my favourite for pro editing, and also Snagit for quick screen grabs for B roll images. There are a lot of video editors out there!

Gillian, could you briefly describe how you would (if you would) use the video editing tools you review together; meaning, would you start editing with descript till the talking part is done, and then use Canva for graphics?

Mic recommendation: do you have a particular mic that you wear for mobile videos that you recommend that's under $75? I'm on a budget and starting to film my construction projects. The problem I'm running into is I'll set up my cell phone to record and then when I go to talk sometimes I'm 10 ft away from it so it doesn't pick up the sound very well. Any help would be much appreciated!

One thing I always get bogged down on is the legality of using stuff like stock photos and video for products I’m going to charge money for. I know there’s a line somewhere between using stuff for yourself vs stuff you are going to sell. A video on this would be super helpful.
