    It's crazy what's possible even with the small amount of effort I put into this AND the constrains of using only AI tools for the sake of this challenge. Imagine what you could do with just a little more time and effort + the option to use your full creativity!! I really look forward to seeing what people create with these fascinating new tools!

    Very well made and really informative. I was and still am a very shy person, so starting a personal channel was not an option for me. But with faceless content everything is easier, and especially when we have all these AI tools at our disposal (I also used Famester as it works really good with this type of channel, and really helps for increasing social media presence).

    As a creative AI frightens me how true-skilled creatives will be pushed aside or replaced by a glut of work noncreative users will have machines produce. Prolific AI users dependent on AI will flourish because AI will make them look good, as if a creator, but many skills in the world will atrophy and the population of creators, with skills, be dumbed down by AI dependent creators.

    • @gillianzperkins
      @gillianzperkins  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's definitely a concern. I don't think there's anything we can do to stop it, though, so I'm trying to be positive about it, embrace it, see it as a powerful tool... and trust that true human creativity can never be replaced. ❤

      Nope. Perhaps as you explore ai more you will reconsider this limiting perspective. Ai is just leverage. Leverage in any business is wonderful, and can be used in a variety of ways. One can use leverage to replace one’s work and then one can just sit around, “atrophy,” and be lazy … OR, one can use ai as leverage to help them accomplish things at speed that used to take up so much time. I honestly don’t need to write every single sales page word for word-that take so much time! Now ai can write me 20 sales pages in a few moments, and I can choose and tweak the best one. It allows us to create way more quickly. That’s my experience. Don’t be scared!

    I think it is fascinating what AI can create. I have experimented with Text to image in Canva, Playground Ai (recently shutdown), Leonardo AI and Blue Willow. The future is AI and in different forms and will just have to see where it takes us. I have also tested out ChatGPt and it is interesting what it can do. Thanks for sharing this Gillian. Would love to see other videos like this.😀

    I think it’s a little dangerous to put out videos on how to create low quality content. There are so many scammers out there looking for get rich quick schemes. Most people don’t have the information literacy levels to do this well. And they surely don’t understand the ethical and legal ramifications (such as copyright and licensing).
    Without fully explaining how to use AI ethically, this just seems like a way to create a bubble that will burst and ruin the content creation market (like when low content books took over Amazon).
    Maybe teaching strategy or tactics would be a more ethical and sustainable move here.

    Excellent example of how to flood TH-cam with low value, wasteful, uninspiring content. Supports my assertion that AI will likely trigger a race to the bottom driven by lazy, opportunistic schemers who want to do the *least work possible* to create the *most money* for themselves. Not an ideal mindset.

      I agree. I appreciate the faith Gillian has in people to use this as a tool rather than their whole strategy, but just isn’t the reality we live in. People will use this to flood the market with low quality content.

    • @ckmoore
      @ckmoore ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@lajourdanne I know people who are already doing this, and have for a few months (within a week or so of my AI video... they tried getting me to jump on the AI train). Flooding the market with low quality content is completely accurate. They won't tell me how successful they've been though.
      I prefer high quality videos and content.

    A couple of questions...
    I heard that TH-cam doesn't like AI voiceovers. They will suspend your channel or, at the very least, you'll never get monetized. Really, they just don't like the whole AI thing at all, regardless of what type of AI you use. Is that not true? I sure hope they were wrong lol
    Also, did you take the text straight from chatgpt or did you edit before adding it to the video?
    Such a cool video! I kept saying "what?!" the entire time 😂

    • @gillianzperkins
      @gillianzperkins  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have not read this anywhere or heard it from my TH-cam advisor. TH-cam prefers content (and promotes content) that people enjoy watching. AI voiceovers can potentially take away from that... but often they don't. People love watching TikToks with AI voiceovers. :) And as AI voiceovers continue to get better, they'll probably just get more agreeable. Of course, though, there's nothing like hearing from a real person!

    • @gillianzperkins
      @gillianzperkins  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I appreciate your positive comment! 😊
      TH-cam hasn't said they have anything against AI voiceovers, and I'm not aware of anyone being unable to monetize for that reason. Definitely worth doing not research on, though -- and it will be interesting to see how this shapes up over the next year or two.
      And no, I didn't edit chatgpt's scripts at all in this case, since the challenge was to use only AI. :)

      @dougscott188 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I get fed a lot of videos that are obviously Ai generated or have Ai voiceover and they will have many thousands of views, so I am not sure that is correct. You see a lot of these in the motivation category.

    Interesting, Gillian, so are you going to continue that AI channel? :) I actually watched the most popular video on that channel now and I think people might rewatch it a few times because it is not clear from the 1st time what it is about, I mean there is cliffhanger information yet no details 🤔. I guess that's how some shorts also grab attention now. Well done though!

    Did you verify the information from ChatGPT before creating a video and telling it to the world? How do you know the information you're sharing is real? Didn't a lawyer get in trouble for using cases provided by ChatGPT that never existed?

      What a great point you bring up! Because of our relationship with Google and other search engines, I think we relate to ai in the same way. But we absolutely cannot assume everything ai tells us is correct. I personally work with ai a lot in my business, and I caught it telling a go-along-to-get-along lie! I was like, “did you just LIE to me?” It did.

    Then apply for monetization and suddenly not approved. These faceless AI TH-cam channels are lazy, the algo for TH-cam isn't stupid and can tell the difference between AI content and made by yourself. You can get a million views but won't be monetized nor will sponsors want to work with a faceless AI channel. It's best to make videos about faceless AI channels and sell an affiliate link and dream to others who don't realize this, exactly like this video did lol

      TH-cam is a-okay with AI content, so long as it's satisfying the viewers. Their terms of service doesn't say there's any issue with it. :)

  • @serenitygoodwyn
    @serenitygoodwyn ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Isn't using AI generated content against TH-cam's terms of service? Even if you get away with it, you'd never get monetised. Something to consider.

    • @gillianzperkins
      @gillianzperkins  ปีที่แล้ว

    • @serenitygoodwyn

      @@gillianzperkins Looks like Google (TH-cam's parent company) changed it's rules earlier this year so that it now doesn't automatically consider all AI generated content as 'spam' so I assume TH-cam did the same as I now can't find anything. Seems like I'm out of date. However, here are three ways that AI generated content can get into difficulty even if it isn't explicitly stated that TH-cam doesn't allow it:
      1. It's very unreliable in it's accuracy. I've tried it for both Music Theory and TOGAF and it got every single answer wrong. You would have to know the topic to know it was wrong because it sounded reasonable but it was wrong. TH-cam doesn't like unreliable info so you'll, overtime at least, fall down the rankings. Try it yourself with a minorly obscure topic you have an in depth knowledge of to see.
      2. It isn't truly original, AI scrapes form a very large data store or the web and basically mushes stuff together. The various generative AIs are already falling foul of copyright law and there are cases being brought against some of them. Copyright issues are taken quite seriously by TH-cam. Google it to find numerous references some of them even reliable.
      3. Most people don't like listening to computer generated voices. That will limit grow potential, people won't stick around or subscribe when there's a channel with the same topic doing it the old fashion way. Ask around people you know to see if you can find any that likes listening to a computer generated voice. Assuming your sample is somewhat representative of your target audience you've got your answer.
      That doesn't mean you can't use AI at all, you just need to use it in a smart way. For example use it to generate a list of key points to make sure you capture all the key points in your video or use it to help make your titles sound more engaging etc.

    AI is overhyped and over rated. It is 30-40% inaccurate and flawed. Creators that use AI are lazy, and it is lowering video accuracy on YT. I know there are some aspects that can be useful- regarding inspiration for artists. Thumbnails can be good-as long as you know the image is accurate (but many are ridiculously inaccurate). Getting a script foundation-okay if you actually fact check and make the text your own. But if you believe AI is accurate you are either lazy, ignorant, or not ethical with your published information
