No, you can check the loot table for blazes yourself. The tnt is explicitly to remove blocks around the spawners to increase spawn rates. This method is known as blaze tnt. TNT does not affect drop rates (the one thing to note is since the tnt was lit by flint and steel, if a blaze dies to the tnt, it counts a player kill and thus having the 50% drop rate of a blaze rod).
With your exact same timestamp 3:17, do you not see the obsidian, then the magma block on top, then the bottom half of the door? You’re actually the Minecraft Warden.
How are these things allowed though? generating 15 worlds at the same time and using programs, I would've thought that those would be considered cheating because it basically tells you where the stronghold is so you don't have to actively look for it
generating 15 world =s at once doesn't affect a speed run. calculator are allowed because people were using spread sheets with every precalculated answer.

There’s only one program, the ninja brain calculator bot, which was made legal about a year ago I believe. If you’re referring to the F3 debug menu, this has always been allowed (excluding versions where the seed was listed in the F3 menu).
personally i feel these are kinda "cheaty" i mean using a program to getting the best seed, and a program to find the nether, it just feel so simple and those parts seem so unimpressive.
What do you mean? The wall (multiple worlds screen) is basically just running multiple instances of minecraft at the same time. I dont even know what you mean by "a program to find the nether". No programs except minecraft itself is required to enter the nether.
I really don’t mean to gatekeep, but it’d be nice if people either watched a lot of Minecraft speed runs or speed ran the game itself before forming an opinion on the calculator. Honestly I think both sides are valid and it is a complex topic, however look at speed runs before the unban. Most runs failed at the post nether split, because you could get super lucky and manage to get your rough estimate perfect for your second nether portal but most of the time you didn’t, so either the stronghold would have to be ocean exposed or you’re screwed. People were trying so hard to minimize this precision aspect, like most runs would fail at this point. This one aspect alone, would turn this 7:45 run to 10-11:xx. People came up with different versions of Divine Travel, more accurate calculation using precise placement on chunk borders and F3+C to get a precise angle, and eventually Perfect Travel was invented. Basically a spreadsheet, containing all the possible calculations you may need to find the location of a stronghold. Then the big debate began, but since the unban, more runs get to the end, higher reset efficiency in the nether, and overall faster times, and a lot less time wasted. At this point there’s millions of resets amongst the top runners and it’s taken this long to get a sub 8, I strongly believe we would’ve never gotten a sub 8 if perfect travel and calculators were illegal. Quite a few games speed run communities allow calculators, because at the end of the day, we’re supposed to be having fun, and resetting because you didn’t get the 1% chance of Eye Spying because you’re using rough estimates is frankly not fun. Eray and Pieray and Preemptive and Pearl Hanging and other techniques do a lot of work to save time and rng. If that’s not the way you want to play the game, that is absolutely fine. But this is the way the Minecraft speed running community has decided they wanted to play. Still if you want to enjoy Minecraft speed running, there’s other categories where calculators have no use like SSG (set seed glitchless), SRG (scout and route glitchless), as well as various tournaments where calculators are banned in the ruleset.
@@irrelevantgaymer6195 Read it all and respect it, just not my thing :p I'm not a speedrunner by any means or do I understand much from Minecraft but I think that if it has a lot of RNG that's just something they kind of have to deal with? @@pachecomp I can understand your perspective, and it’s a fair one. I come from the perspective of someone who needs to touch grass and who has played way too many games for way too much time for too long of a time. I have played Minecraft for over 11 years now and have interacted and participated in the Command Block (pre 1.13), Datapack (post 1.13), Redstone, Build, Technical, Map Making, Modding, Speedrunning and Prison communities. And I’ve also engaged in the Hollow Knight, Outer Wilds and Portal speedrunning communities as well. I just wanted to share my backstory to make my perspective make sense. I think especially with Minecraft, it’s kind of hard to quantify how exactly you should play the game (given the number of communities and how extreme they’re all taken). For example, in the prison community, there’s something called a ZPI where a shulker box is filled with written books with so much nbt data in them that players can’t log onto the server if they log in to a chunk that has a ZPI in an item frame, or even the Technical Community obtaining bedrock in survival Minecraft. In any given community for any given game I think there are a few things that many people will consider to be not true to the game, where a lot of others will consider it to be an emergence of just loving a game so much and wanting to explore more and more of it in any way possible. And I’ve seen many ways people play games that I really don’t personally enjoy, like for example I’m not a big fan of speedruns featuring out of bounds glitches, I think a lot of the time they’re mechanically cool but visually it’s hard to attach what’s happening to those ideas unless you run the category I think. I still have a lot of respect for out of bounds glitch categories like Portal 1 is fucking insane mechanically, but it’s not my cup of tea. Since I don’t like it, I have access to in bounds glitched, and glitchless categories, and will gladly run and watch those categories. Yes Minecraft is a very RNG heavy game, but the ultimate goal is to have fun and, in the case of Any% RSG, kill the ender dragon as quickly as possible. I legitimately think if calculators and perfect travel weren’t a thing, Brentilda’s WR would still be standing and the RSG community would be dead in a few months now, and runners would prefer AA or other categories. Because at the end of the day, you’re looking for really good seeds, meaning you want to get out of bad seeds as fast as possible and do the best with medium seeds, and without calculators and perfect travel you’re forced to stick with bad seeds for much longer and not be able to get a good time with medium seeds. I do think if enough people started running RSG Any% w/o calculators and asked for a new category, it could be a popular thing, but then you have the issues of Perfect Travel being hard to moderate, getting less good runs meaning spectating could be less fun, etc. All in all, I could talk for hours about speedrunning and video games because I love this shit lol, and I especially love Minecraft despite its numerous flaws.

No f3 runs are kind of a different story because they change the way the game is played in an actual meaningful way. They are just two different categories, but both are impressive in their own ways.

@@jnorman5134 I'm not saying Dream wasn't cheating, but what I'm saying is that there is a chance that someone COULD be that lucky, it's uncommon, but it is possible, and as zylenox shows, being super lucky is possible.

Zylenox’s piglin and blaze rates were quite average, in fact I’d say the piglin rates were quite subpar given he didn’t get a lot of pearls or string from the bastion. Zylenox’s seed luck can be explained by the fact that there’s over 2 million resets from him alone. Dream’s luck was literally proven to be impossible, and Dream later admitted to cheating. TNT does not affect drop rates (the one thing to note is since the tnt was lit by flint and steel, if a blaze dies to the tnt, it counts a player kill and thus having the 50% drop rate of a blaze rod).
Obligatory comment so TH-cam spreads your video around
are you even able to make a portal thats 2x2. cause thats what he did at 3:17
Lol thats pretty clearly a 2x3 man, open those eyes.
Ur blind
With your exact same timestamp 3:17, do you not see the obsidian, then the magma block on top, then the bottom half of the door? You’re actually the Minecraft Warden.
I wonder if Teo and Sammy can beat this WR
he looks so much like pewds,
I love less Teo
Why was my first thought when seeing the title like "oh someone really beat Teo in minecraft speed run"...
react to the minecraft rsg brazilian record 8:11
“Professional Minecraft speed runner analyzes his world record being broken”
Here i fixed your title
How are these things allowed though? generating 15 worlds at the same time and using programs, I would've thought that those would be considered cheating because it basically tells you where the stronghold is so you don't have to actively look for it
generating 15 world =s at once doesn't affect a speed run. calculator are allowed because people were using spread sheets with every precalculated answer.
They are allowed because the people who actually speed run the game collectively decided that they want to use them.
What a weird way do and a video, skip the reaction of the person you react to. i like reaction videos because i like to see someone comment on something new or something they like. but ignoring someones 100s of hours journey reaction seems weird
Furries stay on top 💪
yowzers
Is this counted as the World Record? Even though he is using program to calculate stuff? idk If i would count it
I paused the video to early. Teo answered me when I unpaused
Virgin boss fight
if they use a program for it... how tf is that not cheating?
Cause you can pause the game and do the calculations yourself, so it would get the same cords but it would take longer time and sometimes you can fail to do it correctly yourself.
It's allowed in the rules
@@lemonlimecookiecookie it´s like getting test results from a classmate, but if the small cheat is allowed its ok.^^ i would allow it to if you think about the fun aspect. it makes it alot easier and fun.
@@mephistoschalala3917 it’s the ingame time that counts so he could do them math himself in a piece of paper and it would take him a few mins but would add no time to the run. So there’s no benefit to using the program except saving time outside of the speedrun
@@mephistoschalala3917 i mean, you can still do the calculation by yourself in a highschool test, especially advance math, it will still work, it is just that you might not have enough time though.
same as using a calculator is not allowed in primary schools but it is allowed in high school, same concept.
I’ve watched you speedrun. You can do this with time to spare
Surely this isn’t going to count, I would have thought using that many programs to aid you would be disqualification.
Hi!!
hiiiiiiiii
Imo you should not be able to use anything other then the game itself..
@@irrelevantgaymer6195 Read it all and respect it, just not my thing :p
I'm not a speedrunner by any means or do I understand much from Minecraft but I think that if it has a lot of RNG that's just something they kind of have to deal with? Sure, it's frustrating BUT it's the game, just because the speedrunning community has decided to make it legal it doesn't mean it is actually playing the game because it's not, that's not how the game is meant to be played but if you think otherwise and want to explain to me better, I'm open minded to look at your explanation with intent to learn from it and not wanting to be right but wanting to learn more from this.
I don't get it. What's the difference between him using a program to find the dungeon for him and using one to say, give infinite health. This feels like a TAS run, not very impressive....
Its external to the game, just does some math. Doesnt affect game files
@@JM..... Still feel like the player should be doing everything themself in the game
@@luisruiz5045 It literally makes no difference at all for how the run is actually played vs just pausing and doing the math manually. It just allows for less downtime in runs.
@@dementionalpotato math work should be included in my opinion
@@luisruiz5045 The people who actually run the category decided the rule set. We want to run the game without needing to stop to do basic algebra every run. In general, nobody wants to see that, nobody wants to do that, and it doesn’t raise the skill ceiling of the run at all. No f3 runs are kind of a different story because they change the way the game is played in an actual meaningful way. They are just two different categories, but both are impressive in their own ways.
Those kind of speedruns are just sad to watch....
Am i the only one seeing that he got 12 ender pearls waaaay to fast. It takes 2 to 5 seconds for them to give back it is littearly impossible to get so many so fast
it takes 6 on java, and he didnt get anything back when he touched them 5 seconds later, so whats your point? it was 26 seconds after the first trade that he had 12, so on average it was 4 trades with 3 pearls each being 15%
2 to 5 seconds for 1 piglin. Did you watch the video? Did you see he had literally all them from the bastion stacked? Easily multiple per second at that point
And no one accuses him of dream luck, probably cause he's not well known. (that's kinda annoying, even tho dream was cheating, they accused him so fast)
“They” didn’t accuse Dream, they caught him. It was quick because he was cheating in an intuitively obvious way you to any speed runner who actually watched one of his streams. And “they” aren’t accusing zylenox not because he’s unknown, but because there
Isn’t any evidence of him cheating.
@@jnorman5134 I'm not saying Dream wasn't cheating, but what I'm saying is that there is a chance that someone COULD be that lucky, it's uncommon, but it is possible, and as zylenox shows, being super lucky is possible.
@@tricky1383 Dream’s luck is very different to Zylenox’s luck. Dream had incredible blaze and piglin rates for several runs during a period of time. The main luck Zylenox had this run was the seed, and the ever so slight amount of luck that his throws weren’t messed up somehow. Dream was accused because there were concrete numbers which didn’t line up (the amount of rods vs blazes & pearls vs gold). There’s no concrete numbers for Zylenox’s case. Do not conflate the two.
