pros of oculus quest 2: -decently comfortable headstrap and facial pad -extremely inexpensive for a standalone vr headset ($300 usd for the 64gb version) -compatible with any game that works with a rift -pretty high resolution lenses -lots of options for other face pads, head straps and controller accessories -takes almost no time to charge -charges with usb-c -can play games without a pc -has built-in hand tracking technology -pretty well-implemented play area setup (guardian) -surprisingly light and easy to carry around -easy to seamlessly transition between steamvr and oculus cons: -the oculus hand tracking is well implemented but not many games are compatible with it yet -requires a facebook account to use -only 3hrs of battery life -not many games on the oculus quest store (for now) -throwing objects in some games can be very finnicky with way that the quest controllers are shaped and placement of the secondary triggers -doesn't come with a cable to connect to steamvr (but you can get one for like $15 on amazon anyways) as an owner of an oculus quest 2, i can confidently say that it's a really nice headset for people who don't have a powerful pc to run steamvr games or if you're just getting into vr, it's a really good way to start
