I disagree with your theory. Laddio helped the boys clear Tek-Knight’s bank accounts. There’s no going back from that. Also, Firecracker announced Tek-Knight’s death to Homelander.
Firecracker is a super naive moron so her reporting on anything with accuracy is debatable also its possible Laddio draining some of his money might gave been to prevent them from killing Tek Knight.

Did you even watch the episode? The Butler was disgusted that tech knight was going to have basically interment camps. He was fed up with tech night and hearing about the camps was the last straw for him.

With only one season left, I doubt he's alive. The show is going to start tying up loose ends now. Tek Knight lived out his usefulness for the show's plot. I think he's dead.

@ian74747 Gen V will be treated as it's own thing and will be like Agents of Shield in that it only feels repercussions of what happens in the main show. Gen V season 2 will occur between Boys 4 and 5, with survivors of season 4 doing cameos and Gen V season 3 will have cameos of survivors from Boys season 5. Sorry, but Tek Knight was never really a main character for Gen V, he was always a cameo character. He's dead.
Really wish we saw Tek Knight’s armour, such a missed opportunity
having his armor in this world presents the problem of why don't the boys steal technology like that from him or someone else to make them able to go toe to toe against the supes. in the comics that wouldn't of even been a plot point since the boys in that universe were routinely taking down super hero teams on a regular bases but with how depowered the boys are here it would of led to too many story questions

When I heard about the Tek cave in that episode, I thought we'd see some cool gear like Tek Knights armor in the comics. Instead, we see how much of a weird pervert he is with no cool armor at all, along with the fact that I'll now never be able to look at Hughie the same again.
They had an opportunity to do some THEBOYS style gory sendoff, and his own, butler chokes him; FUCKING TECH KNIGHT!!! I don’t think so.

Honestly, with how the show actually took a dump on the character, I could care less whether he is alive or not.
Kripke and his merry douchebags could have had a great story if they actually properly adapted the character from the comics, but they are nothing but Hollywood hacks, so that was my fault for expecting something from them.

He could have faked his death. As to why, it could be because sister sage cured his cancer reverting him back to a good person. He then did the act to cleans himself of all that blood money and get her access to all of voughts little projects. People around Homelander keep dying each time they do one of her plans. And these are not regular people but some of the worst people in the series.

I believe is loyal. And they only donated 400,000,000. That's chump change to Tek Knight.
