Imagine your the town’s people, it is a quiet day but their is an unknown ominous feeling in the air, first you hear it, a terrifying otherworldly screeching, then you see it, a huge flaming ball falls from the sky crashing into the canyon, as the town guard and the monks go over to check it out, and a pair of monstrous scaly wings rise up and you hear that screeching once again, the wind begins to shift and blow as you hear an electrical cracking like on rare stormy nights then a 3 headed golden creature in unholy mimicry of your dragon god, rises up! It’s taller then the biggest tower, wider than the largest temple, the size of a mountain! as it rears its ugly heads energy begins to flow and congregate in its mouths as you see it crackle, the village elder stands in defiance against the beast, with no fear of death and a hope to defend his little town, you watch in horror as he is instantly obliterated but dies as a martyr to the few who survived the demons rampage, destroying buildings without a second thought, blades and arrows did nothing to it as the right head went berserk, destroying all in his path with extreme prejudice, the left head taking interest in the fleeing humans and toying and tormenting them before snapping them up along with large chunks of earth, and then the middle head was just watching us, smiling, intelligently, enjoying the carnage... he became known as a king, and the town he took over was called ghidorah, his name slipped into legend and was eventually lost to time, “king of ghidorah” to “king ghidorah”, “Tormentor of mankind”, “The 3 Headed Devil”....

That last guy at the end didn't even look scared as if he was already familiar with the Kaiju, heck it even looked like he was trying to reason with King Ghidorah. I heard that some humans had a telepathic link to the Kaiju in ancient and prehistoric times and were able to communicate with them. Also it would be interesting to see what or who sent King Ghidorah to earth.

They never gave him one because his origin is meant to be a twist. They set him up as just a rival alpha to Godzilla. A powerful one, but still a titan. Then over the course of the film he starts doing questionable things that don't seem natural: generating a perpetual thunderstorm around him, one-shotting Rodan, regenerating a severed head in seconds, and commanding all the titans to awaken in order to decimate the natural order. Its at this point the viewer realizes somethings up with this creature. Then finally we get the reveal of his true name and where he comes from. Now we know what he's capable of, and the only titan capable of stopping him is dead.
Imagine the horror of old civilizations. My goodness, Ghidorah is my favourite Titan. That's until I had few recurring dreams where Titans were real and King Ghidorah was just massacring humans and that's when I realised how incredibly TERRIFYING it'd be. Edit: Theories say (start imagining), Ghidorah was sent to different planets to terraform them to his way. Meaning, Ghidorah was young and would grow larger. Aaaand, wherever he came from, there are bigger worse monsters. Imagine them coming to Earth
I'll give a counter-theory. King Ghidorah is a living exterminatus - sent by an alien civilization to erradicate any trace of life so no other planet can ever become a threat to Ghidorah's masters. KG is almost like one of the Great Old Ones - there's no personal malice in the death and destruction he unleashes, it's simply that we're there and we shouldn't be.

@@ingen2d Not to mention also the perfect way to introduce Anguirus (or atleast his species) judging by that skeleton in Godzilla's Hollow Earth temple Godzilla BC even makes business sense...if the next few Monsterverse films are Mothra & Rodan solos along with a third Kong movie (since they'd be less expensive to make) then a prequel is how Legendary could still give us *a GODZILLA film* in the meantime. I feel like there should be mini series about titans. Each episode for each titan. Like Metuselah destroying city, Kong's species Vs Skullcrawlers and especially this. Maybe they would given him other backstory, but for me, this is canon.

Yeah, ghidorah is defnetly one of the most evil godzilla foes, but THE most evil is obviusly destroyah, while ghidorah represents the devil, destroyah is the devil.

I'd say Ghidorah is scarier than Thanos because he'll only wipe out half the inhabitants of a planet in his misguided effort to "save the universe". Ghidorah destroys the entire civilization because he just loves it. There's a reason he's called "the devil with three heads".
Although yes I’d prefer Ghidorah over Thanos however the way he’s depicted in the movie is really disappointing, he didn’t even feel like a threat nor did he show him being threatening and when he did in his entrance/awakening scene it immediately got watered down when f*cking missiles made him run like a sensitive b*tch who experienced Resident Evil 7 VR in a dark room.

Godzilla BC even makes business sense...if the next few Monsterverse films are Mothra & Rodan solos along with a third Kong movie (since they'd be less expensive to make) then a prequel is how Legendary could still give us *a GODZILLA film* in the meantime. Add "Godzilla 3" with either alien titans or Biollante and boom; Monsterverse Phase 2!
