Please check ram specifications
Used ram is 1Rx16(not a memory size) ram type which is slower
Buy go for 1Rx8 or 2Rx8 this are faster memory (single rank and dual rank ) dual rank is way faster than 1Rx16
In simple words buy those ram which has minimum 8 memory chip they are called 1Rx8 ram
And those those ram has 16 memory chip they are called 2Rx8 ram
And ram which has only 4 memory chip are called 1Rx16 which slow as compared to other

Check RAM manufacturers using CMD prompt, if it says UNKNOWN, return immediately if have valid invoice. RAM Manufacturer field should say Micron Technology (Crucial registered company). I had bad expreince, where China, fake RAM was sold in crucial packaging. RAM Part number, manufacturer and serial number should be found and matching their website.
In case of heating issues or NOT SO GREAT performance even after the upgrade, it could be fake RAM.

Most of games are coded according to hardware....if you play heavy games like cyberpunk rdr 2 warzone etc...they made in such way that it must perform in highest resolution with beast graphics so this games need powerful gpu and cpu rather than just ram....there is gpu's role in this games...same as valo...valo is ram based game if u upgrade cpu or gpu i wont affect its fps so u wil need to buy ram for it not cpu...in short normal games will give. High fps on ram upgradation and high graphics games will give u higher performance and fps on gpu and cpu upgradation

From gaming's point of view, having RAM in dual channel config. is better than single channel config but for day to day task, the amount of RAM matters more than the configuration.
Check with manufacturer about the max RAM size your laptop/PC can support, if they say, it can support 8GB, go with it.

@@jayrajff9519 nope. only upgrade to 2x16(32gb) is you do lots of heavy working and multitasking. If your gpu is good enough then you would easily run gta in 60fps. Try to lower the resolution to 1600x900 or 1280x720. this will increase fps alot but will lower the quality.
