I currently just registered for school to become an RN. I am a Medical assistant work in hematology and oncology and i have been in medical field for about 5 years now and i think its time to move foward in my career. I have 3 kids all under the age of seven i kno its going to be hard but i have to do it.

Don't go into it thinking it will be hard, grant it life is hard, however, we're moving forward on a positive foot. :) I'm also a mother of 3 going on 4 in just a few months. I graduated high school in 2014 and went straight to college to study accounting because it came easily to me. A year later I lost my passion to study business and I didn't feel like it was meant for me. I always considered nursing but was scared because of how hard it can be. The past year or so my dad has been hit with some major health issues and so I spent a lot of time visiting him in the hospital. He's better now but in that time I really watched and studied the nurses. They make such an impact and they made my dad's stay in the hospital a little bit better. They made him smile and laugh in times when it seemed too hard to. I realized I want to help people smile in their toughest times, hold their hand when need strength, give them the courage to keep fighting and to give them hope. This summer, after a year off of school, I decided to go back and now I'm a pre-nursing major! I can't wait to see what's in store! :)

Omg I’m so glad I found your channel. I’m going for my second bachelors and a complete career change from chemistry. I’ve always wanted to do nursing and now I’m getting the courage to do it. I just enrolled in my only pre req left to take Anatomy and physiology this summer and praying I can get into the spring 2019 cohort. I have 3 kids 6yrs, 3yrs, and 6 months (Jesus take the wheel!) but I know this will make me feel more fulfilled and the financial stability for my family will be worth it! I was just given the opportunity to work in any specialty because we had a bump in my hospital so I got to pick a new job and I was a tech in the ED and I take my hat off to you nurses it's much too intense for me to have that kind of intensity, I ended up going from Surgery to ICU I'm super excited I can't wait to hear how you do. I eventually want to be a CCRN and also TNCC so eventually I'll have to work in the ED if I ever want to work in LifeFlight so tell me how it goes!
