All these years later and I've watched all your "best comfy fatalis build" videos and honestly, those are the reason why I managed to solo Fatalis after 30+ attemps yesterday. Great videos of casual runs with mistakes we can analyse to see what to avoid doing, etc. Very educative. Thank you for putting these out!
man i love watching this. it's me visualizing my own solo run. im tired of watching speed runs and cheese strat. i just wanna do this the "normal" way.
Bro this video is by far my favorite run of any fatty runs out there. Its not a super perfect run where the player foresights every attack lol. I learned a lot watching u play. Thanks man!
Plus that was one of the main points I was trying to prove with each of the vids for this series since i went through each weapon, that its possible to not play perfect (since i dont have the time to script out runs and i assume most people are the same) and still take him down 🙂
Was watching this to try and figure out how to get my first fatalis kill. Dear God, I realized I have a long way to go with the longsword. I still can rarely get a foresight slash off on normal monsters let alone an ian slash. That said, thanks for the video man, I think it'll help me out.
Dude i spent a LOT of hours trying to kill it using a set with some safi items and changing to something similar to ur build made me do it, also chaging the palico ability thx!
Okay, here's how to drastically improve your intro. Enter Quest Use a clutch boost jewel on your setup build Drink your drugs and put on Ghillie, wingdrake to target Upon landing, grab rocks, and drop two mega barrel bombs on the ground beneath the cannon on the left, kinda to the left of the slight corner between cannon platforms Head to the far cannon that's in the corner of the map, push it to the right 3 times Proceed to the right cannon, load it, aim to the right once Fire right side cannon, fatty roars WAIT BY THE FIRST CANNON UNTIL FATTY CHARGES (his first move on getting hit w cannon is scripted, it'll always be a slide to close the gap, which will hit your bombs) Run to the left cannon as soon as he gets down on all fours and fire, he'll immediately fall over, if you're lucky you can clutch his head before he falls down letting you punish the head longer As soon as he gets up, clutch the head and slam him into the wall Now you're free to farcaster, grab your build and go. This method if done correctly provides a 100% consistent setup so long as you get the flow of events down. Switch Axe is a great setup weapon but if you did that you might as well use swax for the whole fight, its the goto method for a reason, you just gotta zsd spam and try not to die, which is so easy that Fatty was my first swax kill and I recommend it gladly.
I do something close to that when im doing warm up runs on him before recording or helping other groups in general (minus the barrel bombs) but the reason i open the way i do in the video(s) is to show the selected weapon from start to finish as well as most of the set up is cut out from me going over the build anyway. So as soon as cannons are loaded i fly out, swap, fly back in, blast him, tenderize, damage, toss, and am good to go
Dont know if anyone gives a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new movies on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother for the last couple of weeks xD
I fainted a lot with it ... Sometime I'm quit, but watch your game play ... I'm just can't believe with that small damage we can kill Fatalis before time up . Good job man, i learned a lot. Tks
This gives me hope that I can solo Fatty one day. Great job man! Though, one thing I personally think you could've done better was to get whetfish fins+. On the off chance that your sharpness goes down in the middle of the fight, you'll only go through one swipe before reaching full sharpness and protective polish. Plus, you can add more buffs during his transitional phases and worry less about timing your sharpening time. This fight is still way better than what I can currently pull off tho lmao.
That’s true but for me personally (and this comes from playing too much fallout) I hoard all of my consumable items as much as I possibly can so even though I have a few hundred whetfish fin+ I never use them 😅 there’s always room for improvement even with clean runs. Good luck out there hunter!
@@BigGamingCompany I did actually! I solo'd Fatty with your build after 5 days of constant attempts! I haven't been able to give an update since I couldn't find your video for a while, but now I did, I just wanna say thank you! You were a great help!
Astera jerky for me really only works if you eat two so you can get that red health recovered immediately. If you only eat one and then take damage from some fire or something on the ground or even a damage tick from his flame puke attack then it goes right back to red if I remember correctly. Hope this helps and good luck out there hunter!
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you but it's all layered armor with the head being the Dragon Sealed Cloth and the rest being the Buff Body set. Good luck out there hunter!
Youre not alone a lot of people used his SA to farm the eyes and pieces but never killed him. Still my favorite fight though so keep trying hunter and good luck out there! 😁

I am a long sword wielder, and I find that Fatalis is so ridiculously overpowering.
Lol, I actually found a comment from a Google account I used to have.

Best Fatalis beginner guide for LS.
holy mother of monster defense
I would have got 1 shot by all of those attacks

Same here on the ZSD spam though...by far my favorite weapon to use on him and is probably the safest of the ones ive done so far

Happy to help and good luck out there hunter!
I'm 100th like what's the layered armor btw
I believe its Buff a+ chest, no head, and the rest is the halloween layered set. Hope this helps and good luck out there hunter! 😁

Good video
Thanks buddy glad you enjoyed it 🙂 i hope it helps in some way and good luck out there hunter!
Hey can i ask where do u get that critical/medicine jewel 4?
In case you didn't get your answer, It's RNG based meaning its a random chance to get it at the end of a quest
what's the name of that layered armor in the intro?
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you but it's all layered armor with the head being the Dragon Sealed Cloth and the rest being the Buff Body set. Good luck out there hunter!
@@BigGamingCompany AHHH Alright,.. THANKSS
That is the easiest guide I have ever seen so far, definitely doable for a noob like me
I had a way better run than this and died in 15 minutes. I hate this monster.
