I was carried on Alatreon, carried level I used a flare and someone came when the judgement exploded, when I was recharging my items on the camp Alatreon was killed, in 1 minute more or less, and after that I sweared to myself that I will solo Alatreon to compensate that carry, and was a very good experience I recomend to anybody!
I'm all for multiplayer, the game is built for it from the ground up! but yeah, carries are bleh
quick side note for element heavy weapons like bow, the azure age armor set is gonna be your bread and butter until you can farm Silver Rathalos for true critical element, Safi and Kulve should provide you with the best options. there are differences per element but just get whatever is available, they're interchangeable.

Additional Note, Frostfang's weapon can also be crafted by upgrading barioth's weapon tree
Your scrap barioth materials from 50 shade of white can be used to subsequently make frostfang weapon, upgrading takes less material than directly crafting the weapon
So if you're planning to make frostfang's armor as well this should also be taken into consideration, less grinding more progressing

Excellent guide, this will save players a lot of time figuring out what weapon to get next.
So I decided I wanted a funny weapon the other day and did the event for the hammer that looks like a chicken drumstick. It's so funny! Then I saw the raw damage on it. WHAT?! I fully upgraded it and the only weapon I have that's better is my Fatalis hammer. So I popped on to my PS5 save and grabbed the basic one. I then proceeded to take out Velkhana more easily than ever before. That drumstick is incredible!
For sure, an easy framework to follow and build upon! Haha nice, it's really good raw but blue sharpness if I recall correct?
@LightItUpDan Yeah, you got it. Not stellar but a good choice for a cheap and easy fire weapon. Plus, it looks delicious. LOL!

My guilty pleasure is using Tigrex armor's max-up free meal with max gobbler and max wide-range to carry randoms through Raging Brachy.
(I've done it at least 15 times so far lmao)

Me with only blast resist lv2 because i dont have a lv1 anti blast jewel, while my bro going in with me with a whopping ZERO level of blast resistance 🗣️ 💥
(We still managed to beat raging brachy)
@@zerozone5848 thing is I go in with none because I just get rid of it as soon as possible. So even if I get it, it won’t last. Though now that I have fatalis armor that might change.!
Did event quests get deleted?
When i try to open the event quest menu it tells me there is no event quest, i hope it doesn't mean what i'm thinking of

NOTE: To you newer players- this DOES NOT apply to all weapon classes.For Bows you wanna get the best in the respective Elemental damage type with good raw (pre-Safi and pre-Kulve) i.e Tobi Kadachi for Thunder, Glavenus for Fire, Legiana for Ice (or Frostfang if you can craft it), Coral Pukei for Water and Dragon Bone for Dragon.
This isn't sound general advice to give, building for elements - yes, even with bow and dbs - is for cherry picked situations. Raw is still king and doesn't require a specific loadout per monster elemental weakness that may only have a semi-decent elemental hit zone value on **one** of its weak points. Raw is great with bows and dbs

I have a question for anyone with the answer lol, im a returning player but its been awhile. But the majority of my upgrade tree for weapons is blocked. Not just blacked out but when I click on the next upgrade it shows no info on the parts needed (not even the question marks) and has a red prompt that says unable to craft weapon. What am I missing? (P.s. I main glaive so thats where im seeing this issue)
If you aren’t fully through the story some weapon trees may be blocked

I've finished the actual campaign I just have guiding lands, and I'm at safi for special assignments, but im even blocked from advancing low level weapons like the iron or bone glaives

Nope, perfectly applicable for ranged weapons too

i just accompanied my friend who want to challenge it solo but with coop multiplier

but seriously, we were stuck in scharde castle for almost 30 hours, split across several days, before we got our fatalis weapon maxed out

U should also mention the azure dragon weapons. I think they are some of the best weapons in the game due to the high amount of affinity
